Not all about the weather. FL itself is dealing with a lot and fans/residents have a lot more important things to deal with than a football game.

Edit: 2 of my gator grad friends lost their house yesterday. Pretty sure they aren't concerned about the game.

And if there had been sufficient pieces to be picked up, the Sunday or Monday game could have been canceled once that was known. But was apparent early Friday pieces weren't likely to amount to much and turns out the "pieces" amounted to even less. Worst weather related danger in Florida this weekend is going without sunscreen.

UF = cowards. SEC = incompetent. And all of college football is left with a cancelled game that won't be played.

Did they lose it to foreclosure? If they lost a house due to the storm, it was built in a very vulnerable place or they were statistically very unlucky.

The game can be played on Nov 19thm, Florida will do it.

Will LSU's crap AD do it?

I'm so surprised Florida wants LSU to lose out on a home game instead of hosting us tomorrow or Monday like other schools are managing to do. I wonder why

Nov 19? LSU has a game scheduled that day. What are y'all doing tomorrow or Monday? Both teams are free.

Your AD isn't called competent by anyone, including your own fans.

Florida pays us 6.5 million to cover our losses and buyout for S Alabama and we have a deal.

Could have moved the game to Saturday night, Sunday, or Monday. So many options and UForfeit refused all of it.

It doesn't appear that LSU was willing to play the game on Saturday in Gainesville.

Bull shite... Alleva stated multiple times that they offered Sunday and Monday. Get your facts straight.

He did not. He said "Monday wasn't discussed." After the fact he said that they would be willing to play Monday.

And play either that game in BR or have Arky or Aggy game moved to BR. Then, the outcome starts to become more reasonable

I've been there, it sucks. Playing this game has absolutely no bearing or relevance though.

Everyone keeps bringing this up but won't address the loss of revenue for the Baton Rouge area economy at a time when every dollar counts.
