Sunny with 0% chance of rain. Could have moved the game to Saturday night, Sunday, or Monday. So many options and UForfeit refused all of it. This was a blow out win for LSU because UF's OL really sucks and entire starting DL is banged up.

Tentatively moving the game to Sunday with the option to pull the plug if the storm got really bad would have been the right call.

LSU was afraid that BHG would be underwater because "we don't understand how floods work."

We tried to tell them to come on over, that everything would be fine.

Does everyone think that LSU didn't have to pick up the pieces in 2005 when they moved their home game against ASU there and then moved the Tennessee game to Monday night.

LSU was being used as a shelter and by the saints. Why does this storm mean more than in 2005.

Simple fact Florida is missing half their defense and their QB is hurt. They barely escaped Vanderbilt and they wanted no part of LSU until they could get healthy (11/19)

Yep....FL was like everything will be fine, EXCEPT when Foley cried safety issues and took no alternatives to play the game. Yep, it's obvious he wanted this game played at 12:00 today

This was all that needed to be done.

Saturday 10/08 0% / 0 in

Cloudy skies this morning will become partly cloudy this afternoon. High 89F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

If I were UF fan, I would use the above official wx quote as ammunition, i.e., 20 mph winds would make the football unstable on kickoffs maybe.

We offered to fly in on Sunday, play, then get back home the same night.

It was a category 4 hurricane that fortunately didn't go inland, if it had, the damage would have been catastrophic.
Hell, I'm POed we aren't playing today, but it wasn't going to happen with those storm models.

One great thing, the whiny consternation, that vol fans are spewing now, won't be anything like it will be after they lose today.

Then just wait till, next weekend, it will be priceless.

For the vast number of mentally challenged on this board, the game will be played if either team is in the mix, unless that crap AD from LSU won't do it.
