That is just stupid. That's like inviting salesmen in to pester the families at a time they have no business being around. Maybe they will take it away the first time a top players has a family funeral and half the pews are filled with coaches fake crying.

I can see it now, UT and Bama send one coach to grandma's funeral, but the entire AU staff comes in golf shirts and a limo with a cat tail on the trunk

We don't have to do that to get recruits but I can see how a fan of a program like South Carolina doesn't get that.

Why is this even a thing that was being considered? I get that some coaches actually do get close to their recruits but NCAA should have more important things to do then voting on shite like this.
