Really wish he could have held on to it because the U is overrated

Screwing what up? UNC lost like they are supposed to.

Making this premature jinx thread

Give me Clemson and FSU.
Looks, as if you want to ensure 9-3, 10-2 seasons every year.
We need UNC and Virginia. Virginia would pull the Maryland and D.C. viewers. UNC would bring the "Triangle" Let UNC play Duke as much as it wants within reason.
I believe the SEC Network is going to have a lot of suitors at the door. Might as well make us richer.

I know we've played this game many times before, but if the SEC were to expand again UNC + OU please.

I hate UNC, but I would prefer UNC-UVA. For one it brings in 2 schools that are already HUGE rivals. Some UVA fans think of UNC as a bigger rival than the Hokies. Plus adds to other sports.

USC would ever vote to accept them. If UT, UGA and Florida were smart they wouldn't either.
USCe shouldn't even have a vote.

Yes, certainly we need to add some lacrosse programs in the spring to the network.
(mildly serious about this statement )

Both are very good at baseball. UVA is better at basketball than most of the SEC. Both offer mens soccer, which could lead to the SEC sponsoring it.
They both offer a hell of a lot more than VT-NC State.
No joke, most VT fans only care about football. Even moreso than the joke about Bama fans on here.

Yea. Not like we've been in the conference for 20+ years
2010 is still really eating at some Bama fans

Sigh.
Looks like another rebuilding year. Over the past thirty years, it's the same story with UNC's football program: get to the cusp of greatness only to fall backwards.
I don't think Miami is a legitimate top 10 team.

Over the past thirty years, when has UNC been on the cusp of greatness in football?

Agreed. Those two would be the ideal expansion teams, but still, it ain't gonna happen. The ACC has everyone locked-in with an excessive buyout and we're all going to have to wait and see how it plays-out in the courts with the ACC vs Maryland.
