When was the last time UGA played Bama in the regular season? You leghumpers seem to miss out on them somehow.

The only way to deal with it is to end WLOCP, cancel annual tech game, and thats not going to happen.

2008.
How about FL?
Eta we also play auburn cross div annually and they are just as tough, minus two recent shitty years.

No. You have two games left on the schedule to do with whatever you want. You don't have to end either of those, and you can take a 9 game schedule.

Uga loses a home game, thats what you fail to understand.

I'm finally with the LSU fans on the scheduling issue. I say drop permanent cross divisional games. But in return for that i'd like Auburn to move to the SEC East and Mizzou be in the SEC West. That is geographically accurate and Bama and AU need a separation in our hateful marriage. The Bama-AU rivalry is like being married to a spouse you frickin despise but the god damn strumpet will not die or leave. That's all just my humble stoned opinion.

I understand it perfectly. A&M plays a neutral site game with the piglets. And the result is not that you give up the WLOCP just so you can play double directional state tech at home every single year. That's what you fail to understand.

Why not move the entire Big 6 (save yourself) into one division? What a fricking crybaby.

9 conference games for UGA means:
4 or 5 road games, depending on the year, because 9 is not an even number.
The Florida game is always a road game, regardless of the year, at a neutral site.
So now we are at 5 or 6 road games a year.
We play Georgia Tech every year, home and away.
Every other year, that's now 6 or 7 road games.
Assuming no other interesting home/aways with Clemson or Notre Dame, and we just stack the rest with cupcake games at home...
12 regular season games minus the 6 or 7 road games means only 5 or 6 home games each year.
The only way to solve the issue and get a home game back is what I described earlier... either cancelling the WLOCP and/or ending our rivalry with Georgia Tech.
Do you understand now?

Maybe spend some time independent...
SEC right now is just welfare for Vandy/MissSt/Arky/Olemiss/Kentucky etc.
Some schools need the SEC more than the SEC needs them.
Georgia is not one of those schools, and if they keep pushing... Atlas Shrugged.

2010, 2011 and again this season.
UGA hasn't played them since 2008.
It's ridiculous, really.

It's already been done.
Beginning this coming season our permanent cross-divisional rival has been designated to be A&M, and visa versa.
Arkansas and Mizzou are now permanent cross-divisional rivals, according to the league offices.
A&M and SCAR definitely got the better competitive end of the deal. Not to mention it gives me a reason to go to Dallas every couple of years to visit family there, so I'm happy with the change.
I doubt a 9 game conference schedule will affect any of the other existing inter-divisional games you listed.
Why did ARK/USC want to breakup so badly? What's the back story there?

Here's an article that goes into more depth on the scheduling vote: LINK

There are four main options being discussed. “We're looking at eight games with or without permanents, nine games with or without permanents and maybe one off-shoot of that, ” Slive said while speaking to reporters during The Associated Press Sports Editors' Southeast Regional meeting Monday afternoon.
I wonder if the "off-shoot" is The Roommate Switch?

The B1G is doing something like. Indiana/Purdue is the only permanent cross-divisional series in the conference.
There's no reason DSOR and TSIO couldn't be kept and everyone else rotate.
& please tell me HOW you're going to work around those games.....which WON'T be consered a non-conference game.

I'm going to say it's safe to guess that these schools will definitely vote to keep the permanent games: Bama, AU, UT, UGA, Arky, & Mizzou.
These teams will most likely vote against it: LSU, aTm, & USCe.
The swing votes will be: OM, Vandy, MSU, UK, & UF.
The last time this was put to the vote two years ago, all of the swing voters voted to keep the games.

Don't think FL will be a swing vote. I'm almost sure they'll be in favor of keeping the game.
