No one mentioned anything about injuries? Lol, you're ignoring my notion. Obviously the coaching was the cause of this bad defense, not lack of talent. Or maybe you disagree what difference a year can make in regards to coaching?

With AU, you had Gus, plus you have to inject Nick Marshall into the equation. I do not see UGA adding any new elements to that degree.

We also aren't coming back from 3-9, so we don't really need to to the same extent, but to recap, we'll be bringing these new elements:

1) An entirely new defensive staff
2) All our injured players back (on offense mostly, obviously)

A change in coaching only works at AU. Got it.

He may be a great DC but the talent he had on D at FSU this year was unreal.

True. But it's not as if he is inheriting a slew of bums at UGA. UGA's defensive roster has plenty of 4-5 star talents.

Over the years Auburn thought they found the missing piece by changing D Coordinators (and Staff), but found out that players are the ones who make plays. When you find that new player that is the missing element, you might have the turnaround you are hoping for. AU was 3-9 with a bad OC, no QB and problems within the coaching staff. So far at UGA, all we here that has been corrected is a new DC. Good Luck.
