there is nothing egregious about putting FSU 2 or 3 based on their resume this season to this point.
Alabama is a power-5 conference team playing a power-5 conference schedule and has one loss. Newsflash: The SEC is nowhere near as strong as its been in the past.
Yet they are ranked not 1 but 2 spots ahead of undefeated FSU.
If this is correct to you, you aren't looking at it objectively.

They play in the worst conference in the Power 5 and the worst division of all Power 5 divisions except 1.
You can keep arguing that the SEC is nowhere near as strong as it has been, but that is pretty clearly entirely an opinion you have in you brain. None of the metrics (computers, polls, statistical analysis, etc) agree with you.
Again, I don't care either way. But FSU plays in a league that statistically worse than the Big Ten, and a division that is worse than every other Power 5 division other than the Big Ten West. Their OOC schedule that was praised before the season ended up being a 6-6 OSU team, a 7-5 Notre Dame team and a 6-5 FLA team.
But hey, sure, Alabama should be #3. Don't really care either way.

Going to chime in on your thread whining about Oregon being ranked ahead of FSU on the MSB.

Newsflash neither is the ACC and even with the SEC being down because LSU, AU, USC, and aTm were all over rated by pollsters coming into the season the SEC is still stronger than the ACC. But that would require someone to see things objectively which you are not.

I don't understand. What specifically are the rankings having to do with money?

So desperate to make Alabama look bad that you downplay your own team. Two weeks ago y'all were going to win the SEC...
fricking ridiculous.

Agreed. Teams are bad when Alabama beats them. They're so bad that Alabama should feel bad for winning.
Alabama is also so bad when they lose to good teams. So bad they should feel bad for losing.
So winning or losing, Alabama fans should just stop liking football because we're ruining it for everybody.

Do you think FSU is better than Bama.
I think an undefeated team from a power-5 conference with the best player in college football should be ranked higher than a 1-loss team from a power-5 conference, that aside from Miss. St., hasn't beaten a team with fewer than 4 losses.
You still did not answer the question. I didn't ask who you think should be ranked higher or why you would rank them higher.
Really simple question.
Do you think FSU is better than Bama and win the game if they played?

First MSU is not a bad team. Not a number one team but not bad.
I personally would have FSU at number 1 and Bama at number 3 but I'm an old guy who liked the AP and UPI days. FSU has won every game and I believe that's all that matters. This committee seems to be taking too much into account. Bama LOOKS better right now but I haven't seen FSU do anything to lose the top spot. As long as you are in the top 4 does it really matter? I couldn't care less if we were 1 or 4, just get in and win.

Whats the agenda?
Okay, so you think the agenda is money. So, how does having Alabama #1 instead of #3 and having FSU #3 instead of #1 further that agenda?

Bama 2014 isn't like Bama 2011 or 2012, but they are still better than FSU 2014. They have some close wins and one good loss. FSU has a bunch of close wins, but the final score doesn't always tell the story.
This week FSU won by 4 but trailed the entire game. Miami had multiple chances to put them down and failed.
Bama won by 5 which oddly is being used to support MSU but in reality MSU never had the ball in the final 20 minutes of the game with a chance to tie or take the lead. The score may have looked close but it wasn't.
Bama is beatable, but to say they haven't played to this point like one of the four best teams and probably the best team is trolling.

I'm with you there. I'll never forgive the whiners for forcing the BCS on us, which ultimately led us to an unnecessary playoff system.
