Last year SHOULDNT matter, I agree, but it does. It's always in the back of everyone's mind, so you subconsciously are always aware.

I know it's a loooooong shot but, do you think UF can get up for one last farewell win for Champ? I would love to see UF know them off and get them out of the picture.

I think they'll be too prepared and won't play around -- the last time a UF coach got fired he went in there and ruined some dreams.

That being said, they could easily slip up and the team could play for respect. We'll see. Hoping for the best.

It obviously doesn't matter. If you haven't noticed, FSU is ranked #3 right now.

I hope so. For all the guff I've given Muschamp, here's his chance to win me back before he leaves.

If the UF Dline gets up for the game, I think they will give FSU all kinds of trouble. FSU is weak on the LOS.

Unfortunately, Orr is off the team and Fowler just declared for the NFL early.

We'll see, but I never get my hopes up with this team.

Hey, as loathed as Fran still is for Aggies, he did give us two straight victories over t.u. on his way out the door

Florida State has as much or more talent than any other team in America. They haven't played like it but lets be honest Alabama hasn't either. Florida State is going to be a dangerous team in the playoff no matter where they are ranked.

2 of their players would've sat out a few games if Fisher had any morals.

The only thing I would like more than an FSU loss is an Iron Bowl victory.

But how does UF go about scoring on FSU?

last year would actually hurt the noles. They bashed everyone but Auburn in 2013. In fact, the team team for the plains that was clearly being helped by angels was the only one to give them any kind of scare.

This year's Noles are just..... mleh.

I agree that they haven't won convincingly. However, I think the only reason that argument should come up is if they also had 1-loss.

If I were a Nole fan, I'd be more worried about:

1. Are we using the same signals as last year to call the plays in from the sideline?

2. If the answer to #1 is yes, then is Coker smart enough to remember them?

3. If the answer to #2 IS yes, then is Winston smart enough to learn new signals?

I think we're going to just open up the offense from hereon forward, so we'll see a much different game.

Treon will show us if he's worthy to be QB or if we still have some soul searching. Probably a timid game against EMU and then everything for FSU.

I agree FSU's schedule is weak but they are the defending national champion and they are undefeated.

I see this a lot and don't get it. What does last year have to do with anything? Undefeated NC Auburn went 8-5 (4-4) the next year, for example. FSU has been thoroughly unimpressive this year. What saves them is nobody else is all that impressive, either. If FSU wins out they'll be in, almost certainly. I don't see a snub.

FSU is suffering from the teams they've beaten.

Notre Dame is a perfect example. They squeaked by them. ND lost to Northwestern this week. If you haven't watched this year, Nortwestern is absolute dog shite. Any cred in that ND win was lost when NW.

They barely beat Clemson. Who is now a 3 loss team after getting dick hammered by Ga Tech.

They've only beaten 2 teams who are still currently ranked. Clemson is barely in at 22 and Louisville is at 25. By the end of the year, none of their wins will be against a team still in the top 25.

Someone on the first page nailed it. No one in the administrations of CFB really want to touch FSU right now. They are toxic. They currently represent everything that has been deemed wrong with the way college athletes get preferential treatment and how that informs their actions that they can get away with anything they want. Basically, if you haven't noticed, the ONLY way FSU is going to get into the playoff is if they are undefeated. Given ANY excuse, then the committee will banish them so they don't have to take the PR hit that will inevitably occur with a month to talk about them. Regardless of how the Winston case was/is handled, the examples that have been brought up by the NY Times exposes, and CONTINUE TO HAPPEN as recently as last month just make the whole program and school look HORRIBLE. This is the last thing CFB wants to be the focus of the first playoff.
