so are you not going to break down positions you lost players at? cuz that tends to matter. if you return talent at certain positions your more likely to be better than if you return talent at other positions.

following along at home

What about us following along at our public library in our respective city? I know a couple of the State posters like to go to the Indianola Public Library to create their alters. That was a funny night. Rummy brought the heat...

Very true, but I am not saying we wont suffer at LB or our defense will be better than ever! im saying im optimistic that our defense will be in the same ballpark as last year and if it does fall off, I dont think it will be that much

As a fan, all you can do is be optimistic, or in my case, realistic. More fans should try the latter...

How many teams did state beat last year that ended the season with a winning record

Since no one would answer me I looked it up.

State beat 2 teams last year that ended the season with a winning record.

Florida 8-5
Michigan 7-6

I'm impressed.

Understandable......and I'm not saying you shouldn't be optimistic. But it seems like the consensus from the MSU posters are that there won't be any drop off without Diaz.

We lost 1st round draft pick LT. Return rest of O-line, minus one other guy but he was rotated in and out so we have experience to replace him.

Return all other Offensive players including QB, all receivers and running backs.

Lose 2 good Lb's, upcoming Lb's got good playing time, also got an all ACC transfer that will play MLB. Lost one good defensive end, return the rest of a very good D-line. Return all secondary.

maybe because we are used to changing DC's. Wilson will be our 5th in 5 years- but the first time we didnt have much change within the defensive staff

I'm watching highlight videos from last season. I cant wait for this season to begin. Check it out.

Bama O# vs LSU D#
LSU D# VS Auburn O#
Auburn O# vs Kentucky D#
Arkansas D# vs State O#
Alabama D# vs Arky O#

If you wanna watch old school smashmouth football watch the Arky/State game.

It's nuts. I don't think they win. Without Conley and Mayo they are gonna wear down in this OT IMHO. I really hope not though. Come on Grizz...
