Freeze has always struck me as pretty amateur. Like a high school coach who struck it big and doesn't know how to handle big-time football or handle an SEC job.
The thing that set it off for me is the footage of him and his coaches in their meeting on signing day.
Every time they had a big recruit announce for them, he and his coaches started whooping it up and celebrating like a bunch of rednecks who just bagged an 8 point buck the the first day of deer season or just hooked a huge bass.
In addition to looking redneckish, he looked an amateur.
I mean, could you see Saban doing that?

Even Muschamp would have walked away and ignored that student. At least Freeze is proud of his keedz.

Dumb move by Freeze but I have seen him argue with a parody of himself on twitter so I am not surprised that he would respond to a fan who taunted him.
Just adds fuel to the fire that he doesn't have what it takes to be a big time coach in this league.

yeah as classless as cussing out a reporter in the post game. He shouldn't have responded to the fan but come on he's an emotional guy. He will never do it again.

Yeah... I could.. Coaches lose their cool every now and again.. Mark Richt lost his in the press conference after last year's SECCG.. Maybe not quite to the extent that Freeze did.. I could definitely see Saban fricking around on his wife in every college town that he coaches in though.. Couldnt you ?
Which do you think is worse ? Yelling at a heckler or having multiple mistresses and processing kids left and right.. I'll wait....

someone obviously said something about one of the players....thatll set someone's hair on fire. IMO....professional....except a pro wouldn't let people in the stands determine the next move.

Dick Vermeil has done this same thing.. Fans in Philly and St. Louis would attack his players and he would lash out.. Big deal.. Coaches are emotional guys... All the coaches around the league like Freeze except Malzahn, of course.
