Fort Worth Star-Telegram

quote:

The fear is this time this type of cancer is more aggressive than the cancerous tumor that was discovered on his kidney in 2016.

A group of his former players at TCU plan to visit Franchione at his home at Horseshoe Bay near Austin.

That was his in-game coaching strategy, I’m sure his doctors have a better game plan to fight his cancer than he ever had for fighting opponents on Saturdays. Hope he perseveres, regardless of how I feel about him as a coach.

I didn't like his offense and I didn't like his personality, but I am very sorry to hear this.

He still has a good relationship with the folks at TCU.
Sounds like they’re supporting him.
I’m with you: I didn’t care for him, but I wish him peace.

Not a fan but I’ve seen what cancer can do first hand so I feel for him.

So I have something in common with Fran, though I'm not quite as old. I hated his coaching tenure at A&M, but I wish him the best. Cancer sucks.
