Tulane is a private institution, with no ties to the state as they are a bunch of carpetbagging yankees

I guess he could have played for UNO if they had a team

Didn't collegiate athletics start at private institutions? Yale, Princeton, etc.

I don't understand why some LSU get emotional over LF7. I understand defending him to a certain degree that's your boy. The explanations doesn't match the actions of LF7. He was still injured the Florida game so why did he play knowing that it could cost him money? For the love of LSU football I guess. The same dude couldn't wait to sign with an agent flaunt expensive watches/chains and couldn't support his fellow teammates until the season ended.

Hey, we weren't the ones who struck a Heisman after just one touchdown. But we have in common the fact that like all of us, Leonard never even made it to the ceremony.

Bama wouldn't have gotten him drafted higher, perhaps lower considering the RBs track record in the NFL

I agree with that somewhat, he might not have gone as high just because he would of not have been as valuable to our offense. The point people are making it's like you guys are falling over yourselves to prove LF7 loved his school before himself when his actions spoke otherwise.

Heisman pose

Tried to play while injured when he had a great replacement and should of rehab.

Signed with agent before season ended.

Didn't travel to bowl game with teammates. He could of paid for his own ticket and asked for sideline pass.

Actually I don't agree with his decision and I believe he will struggle a lil until his vision improved

This.

Why the hell even bring up anything to do with Alabama? He had a bond with LSU, he had a great career with LSU, he's a top shelf athlete and will make a mint in the NFL.

Well, they came up short this year. It wouldn't have hurt.

Yes. But I think Sark would have been more likely to keep feeding LF7.
