JacknolaFournette on not picking Bama: they can have all of their rings and titles by JacknolaSo that "bond" is why he didn't play the last part of the last season, or the bowl game? Actually, I like him, saw him at St. Aug played basketball too. I thought he had some bad advice early in his career (Heisman pose) and I am not a fan of those $1,500 shoes which seem indicate another athlete's ill-advised expenditure of bonus money. However, best of luck to him.

He said he could have played in the bowl game, but his ankle was still not 100%. As it turned out, we scored 54 without him.
I would think he did not want to take a chance on re-injuring his ankle even more (cartilage, ligaments, etc.)

Yeah Miles was not happy about the Heisman pose after his first freshman TD. Fournette did apologize for it though.

Actually his family is middle class with their own business. He probably bought those shoes on his own.

Nice post Jack...

It is just amazing that this board has gone to such shite this will be made a negative thread. LF7 said he chose to play for his hometown school, over a place where he knew would give him a better shot to win.

That is what college football is about in its purest form. But of course, this board is rotten shite so they will bash LF7 and some gump will now likely kill his dog

I'm sure Bama players think their rings are pretty special, plus Jonathan Allen's article articulates how special his bond is with Alabama, plus he got the RINGS!

I posted a quote from an Alabama linebacker that said football is all they have.

Not sure how that is a troll....... It was just posting a quote. I didnt twist the quote to call Anderson a pussy or beta for choosing to play for his home school

I just dont understand how what he said can be turned into a negative

Im pretty sure if Leonard Fournette said he gave money to cancer research, other teams fans would say "What a pussy beta. Cancer and death are good because it monitors population control."

It rings completely hollow coming from him after he totally quit on LSU mentally and physically last season. My most vivid memory of him will probably always be him cracking up on the sidelines with a towel over his head as Florida upset LSU. Then he couldn't even be bothered to play in the bowl game. So this notion that he was just so passionate about the LSU program seems a little silly.

You have a bad memory. That was the Arky game, where we kicked their arse

ETA: Your whole post reeks of someone who takes college football way too seriously. I bet your dog is named Bear, and your cat is named Crimson

Yes, it is. College sports started off as actual students playing and representing their hometown schools. So in its purest form, yes it is what its about

He didn't need Bama, Bama didn't need him. Good luck to him.
