72 carries is a SSS but 50 isn't? That doesn't make much sense. Derrius Guice had 51 carries for the entire season last year. Didn't seem to see much SSS talk there.
Harris is going to average 14-18 carries a game because Hurts is going to get 8-10 and BS/Emmons/Jacobs are going to get 8-10.
I still think it's a tad silly to just write off Harris' performance as if he has 7 rushes and broke 1 of them for 80 yards, but that's fine.

Yes there was. Folks were high on Guice for individual runs, and ST play. It was pretty clear he was beating up on lower tier teams and getting garbage time runs. What you read on here is not indicative of how folks really feel, as I'm sure you know by now.

No one is writing it off. I'm sure he's going to be a good RB for Bama. But this thread is about the 2 premier SEC backs, not ones that get 12 carries a game.
