Fournette best in SEC since Bo and Herschel?

Fournette is a monster, and I am very curious to see how Bama's run D matches up against him in a few weeks.
I will say that I was pretty confident in Bama's D stopping Georgia's run attack in Chubb, but am not so confident against LSU.
Fournette just seems to be as impactful a gamechanger from the RB position as Manziel was from the QB position. From watching last night (and all year) Fournette doesn't even need his OLinemen to dominate; he just needs a near stalemate so he can take a step or two and he is almost guaranteed to pick up 7 yards.
And this isn't to say that LSU itself is unbeatable. The are very good but not as dominant as a whole as say 2011. But Fournette is the best player they have had in years and if the defense doesn't allow the team to get behind, and if the playcalling continues to utilize LF7 correctly, they are very difficult to stop.
Bama's best chance is to get ahead early (hopefully by 2 touchdowns) and force LSU to pass more than they should. Can be done, but will interesting to watch and see.
But that matchup is 3 weeks away, and Bama could lose to Tennessee next week if they come out flat, so I shouldn't talk too much about GotC2 just yet. But in the wake of (another) the dominant performance by Fournette against a pretty good Gator defense last night, I think it must be said that Fournette is a beast.

I have a feeling Reuben Foster will get trucked by Furnette. I bet he's still pissed about that kickoff hit

He has braces. Which is a deal breaker for me

If he puts up 150 plus and two TDs vs Bama the Heisman trophy is won and he can be put in that elite class.

Foster v Fournette will be fun. I think IF ANY D Line can stop Fournette. It will be Bama's. I don't think any other team in CFB will be able to.

He's almost in the class as of right now, but I thought Gurley was on his way to that class as well.
It takes a career to become a legend. Fournette cannot get injured, cannot get involved in a scandal, and cannot get stuffed in games that matter most.
But his talent is certainly right there with Herschel and Bo. All 6'1 230+ pound running backs with tremendous vision and speed.

Chubb wasn't stopped. Fournette won't be either. The only thing that can stop him is injury.

stop Fournette
no one is going to "stop fournette" this year.
alabama may hold to to under 175 but that isn't exactly "stopping" him.

Chubb had one 80 yard run to make it a decent day, but he could not consisently on every other down and have a "good run" against Bama's D. When I talk about the dominance of Fournette, it's not just the long breakaway runs (which he can do) it is consistently pick up 6 or 7 or 8 + yards and break down a defense. Chubb in no way did that against Bama's D. Fournette can/ likely will. I only hope that Bama can get up early and take the ball out of Fournette's hands a little bit.
