i believe that is only SC thread that i ever started on here, and it wasn't about SC football, just one dude on the radio making an odd statement. i wasn't accusing SC of anything. i'm not anti-SC, i went there for a semester, and most of my family lives in Cola.

A shrink would tell you that you are pathologically obsessed with the Gamecocks and incredibly insecure about not being in the SEC and instead being forced to live a lesser existence in the ACC.
You crave the ball busting comaradre and esprit de corps of SEC fandom and your dream is to one day be able to chant SEC SEC SEC in addition to being proud when your team is winning a bowl game or tourney game or game in Omaha ... because the SEC, unlike every other conference, is bigger than any on individual program ... we're family. And you will never know that kind of brotherhood second only to military service quite honestly.
You also live vicariously through your taterheads and validate your life based upon their accomplishments and/or failures in all endeavors.
Oh, and you're a sheep humper, so there's that too.

lol at 'you're family' and yet another weird comment about 'sheep humping'. if we were getting it on with animals in Clemson, probably would be cow humping. lol don't recall seeing any sheep driving through nearby areas.
in my view, Clemson is bigger than any conference. it has a brand not linked to the conference it plays in. i think the problem with SEC programs is they often promote the conference more than their individual schools.

i grew up in SC, and still live in SC, and a guy who does a radio show in Columbia about Clemson sports retweeted it. i looked on here and nobody was talking about it, so I posted it. Are they not a SEC team?
Why do you think Ellis wanted to white knight for Lville's coaching staff? Also keep in mind the Wake guy was working on the Wake sports radio program and was formerly an assistent on Wake's team.

The SEC is superior to all other conferences because we're that way .... the conference promotes and encourages individual program excellence but also touts excellence and standards throughout.
It is we SEC fans that make the conference as good as it is. Top to bottom this conference can boast of having the best college fans, in almost every sport, year in and year out.
No program is an island unto itself except Notre Dame and Texas ... and see where it has gotten those two programs.

i didn't see a lot of excellence on the football field this year in the SEC. lot of teams struggling on offense.
what is your evidence SEC has the 'best fans'? you said every sport too? What about hockey?
