He was a couple of inches from shooting a 57.

It was neat to watch Spieth and Berger cheer him on.

Yea, their bromances are pretty funny to watch. They all seem like down to earth, fun dudes too. Easy to root for.

It wasn't like those two were kicking it around the course. They both posted solid scores.

Thomas's ball striking is unreal.

Yea, he's a talented guy. He's really zoned in so far this year. Hopefully he can keep it up.

When you are getting 200 yds of carry out of your 7 iron, you have an opportunity to go after a lot of pins most stay away from.

Yep - when you strike like that your options increase exponentially.

He's quite deep. Last week he popped a drive like 405 yds. Last year he hit one about 415 at Firestone

It's obvious you've never played.

He can definitely compress it. That kind of ball speed is amazing.

Anyone that thinks golf isn't a sport should pack their own clubs and play the Ocean Course. I've done it and I would bet that 85% of those that think that would want to quit at the turn due to exhaustion. The other 15% would have to buy another dozen after 9 and want to quit out of frustration.
