Is this where everyone says how much they love Vandy and UK because they aren't threats
I would say it would be fair to hate us on the occasion that we beat you when you are expecting the door mat.
a la LSU 2007 (I know it was long ago.)

I love Vandy because they OWN Auburn, and I love Nashville.
I enjoy being around Kentucky fans, and I loved Lexington.
Everyone else can GDIAF.

But seriously, I'm thinking that because of our experiences with Hootie, us and Arky share some kind of weird arse bond.
Eh, a lot of OM and Arky fans don't like each other. They're personally my 3rd least favorite school.

Answer this: Are you gay or have a strange homoerotic curiousity? Therein may lie your answer

Also, Bama has beaten Arkansas into submission. I know a lot of Arky fans that are closet Bama fans. So, they're kinda friends. Mizzou would be the closest thing to LSU's SEC friend

LSU likes Vandy because they always beat Ole Miss.
LSU also likes USCe. Probably as a function of the historical football series record.

Latti's first knee injury happened the last time we played you in football
Other than that zero animosity, We both suck in basketball due to coaches that screwed our programs over, and we both have successful baseball programs.

Seems like Bama has a hard on for us. Probably just one football Titan recognizing another.
Lot of shared history b/t Aggie and Bama....if we had to drop a game I was glad it was to Aggie
There has always been a big mutual love fest between Bama and Penn State although the Sandusky scandal may have tempered that....

To me, it comes down to competitive balance, and a safe distance.
I don't think anyone else really likes Alabama or Florida, because they went through stretches of absolute dominance in football. My guess is each of those schools would like to pretend the other doesn't exist, rather than be "friendly" with each other.
As an LSU fan, I tend to like Georgia and Tennessee. I respect both schools' tradition, and we don't usually compete for the same players. When we do play, it's usually a good game, and both fanbases see the other as a quality opponent- a feather in the cap if we win, no shame if we lose (that's overall tradition, not each season).
As such, I view both those programs favorably and root for them a lot of games. I could say South Carolina is beginning to develop to that point, give them time (for LSU fans).
Florida, since Saban/Miles brought that series back to equal footing, also coming around a bit. Since we've played good competitive games, I think we both want to see the other school do well too... as long as neither team gets a long streak going in their series.
Teams in the West are either rivals to overcome, or teams we see as not equal. Neither leads to "friendship". Lesser teams in the East are not threats, but not viewed as equals, so there may be some condescension involved.
A&M and Mizzou- to early to tell. I get the feeling A&M may be more like an Auburn/Arky rival (you have to fend them off and they can be annoying at times). Should produce some good games, but too close/ too much direct competition to become "friendly". Mizzou- somehow they seem to have a smug attitude right now that just makes me want to see them get their asses kicked. I didn't feel that way before the merger, I actually kinda liked their athletics before.
