Average starting pay is top 3 in the SEC. I'll take that stat.

LSU has one of the best history departments in the country.I thought about going there for grad school. Instead ended up going back to work.

LSU Press is second to none, including UNC and Harvard.

I know we have a few great departments.

But there was a huge gap between the good and the bad.

This gets pushed out every year. Believe Alabama has been in the late 100s - 300s over the last 10 years. Calm yourselves, pretty sure Bama was ahead of LSU last year.

As a student, you get out what you put into it.
