I have a question for you:

Are you still going to root for LSU over us as previously stated?

Regardless check out Northgate on a late Friday night if possible.

I just wish they'd start to go away or at least incorporate some color other than tan to the newer buildings. Awful.

Disagree. Having a unified look is more important. The new buildings going up are beautiful and the only complain is the tan stone and tan brick. Which doesn't bother me as much as it does some, but I can definitely live with it, and would hate to see us go through some unnecessary alteration to this massive construction overhaul halfway through.

I'll be there tonight.

I can't tell you much about the tour, but as far as places to go.

Best Restaurants:

Republic Steakhouse on University -- Best steak and expensive, but well well worth it.

Cafe Eccell: Northgate

La Bodega: Northgate

Grub Burger Bar: Gourmet Burgers

Koppe Bridge: Great fried entrees and burgers

Fuego: Taco Bar

As for Bars:

Corner Bar: 3 story bar with a roof
Cedar Lane: Get the Cedarade or Wake me up. You'll end up in a strange young lady's bed.
Schotzi's: Live Music
Rebel Draft House: Tons of beer on tap
O'Bannons: Irish Bar with over 100 beers on tap.
Logan's: 44 oz. beers
Dry Bean: Shot Bar (seriously, huge shot menu)

If you end up at A&M, you simply MUST hit up T-camp. Whoop!

Buddy of mine got his undergrad in MET and is now back for his Masters.

For the longest time, the USAF Weather Officers were funneled through the A&M Met program for training. About 5 years ago or so they took it on in house.

ATM is a good school with an ugly campus. It looks like an office park from the 1970s.

Drought through on way to Houston and wife had never seen the campus. When we drove up she was like, "ohhh ok, cool. Thought it would be prettier." Said it looks like a military base with plain ugly buildings

She also noticed all the fat girls walking around but that's another story

Its a pretty big campus. Always loved walking through it. Fun fact: Did you know that Palooza11 threw up on Sul Ross when he was stumbling back to Mosher Hall after a night of debauchery at north gate?
