Auburn's offense has been pretty mediocre vs us in Starkville since 2009.

Going the LSU route and using past (and useless) results to gauge this years game, huh?

That's a bold move Cotton. Didn't work out so well for the bengals.

We can use past or present, this is Mullen's best team at State, led by the nation's best quarterback.

Solid Grind.

It's a bend don't break defense. We give up some yards but we also make big plays to end drives

The only thing I think State hasn't faced is a great defense. I still think they're going to put up points. Just an observation though.

Their back 7 would start at A&M, except at FS.

Held to less points and yardage in regulation play by Arkansas. Guess Arkansas has a pretty bad arse Defense too.

I've seen a few Auburn fans point to the fact that Harris fizzled against them while he was more than decent in his 4-minute stint against MSU. First off, he was comfortable playing at home against State, where he's had nothing but success in four games there. Second, he's a TF who's going to be inconsistent for a while, much less playing on the road in a great road environment like Auburn. Harris missed 7 or 8 open receivers that he'd been hitting all year. Auburn still wins given the way they performed, but Harris throws the way he did against State and the Tigers probably triple their scoring. From what I've seen State's D is every bit as good if not better than Auburn.

That's your own fans doing there slick.

I love how everyone wants put down Harris for only beating NM State....nevermind he almost pulled off one of the biggest comebacks in LSU history vs State. No LSU fans expect him to be perfect and most don't expect us to win. But you are in for a rude awakening if you think this O as a whole will not perform better with Harris at the helm. State got lucky they didn't have to face him until 4 min were left in the game....AU will not have that luxury.

He was dropping bombs vs State with guys out there "trying" to prevent it and they failed miserably. Yes, you will not have the luxury of facing AJ and you are a fool if you think otherwise

For Auburn to win they're going to have to have success passing the ball. I don't think they will be able to run effectively on us...to stop an offense like theirs you have to have good LBs to contain the outside and have a good Dline to stop up the middle. That's exactly what we have and that's why they struggled with KSU...KSU had good linebackers.

I think if we force AU to pass more than they are comfortable with then it'll get them off of their rhythm. They pass efficiently only because they establish the run so well. Marshall is not a good passer when they have to rely on passing the ball.

They won't stop our offense. It's ridiculously balanced...there is only a 20 yard difference between our total rushing yards and total passing yards, which is amazing considering how many big plays we make. We can impose our will on offense and exploit the defense. It's mostly due to Dak..he reads the defense and checks the playcall at the line and is very good at it.
