One of the best adjustments by Steele and dominant D I’ve seen n a while after that 1st q. And it was against a top 3 overall pick at qb and good offense to boot. I been saying all off season like many of us on here. These are the years Gus finds ways to win 10-11. Freshman qb coming off 8 win season and arse is basically literally on fire and he probably ends up right there in the end contending for Atlanta

Meh...both teams played well enough to win. No one would’ve been lucky to win.

Both teams have fatal flaws. Oregon can’t beat man coverage and Auburn has a true frosh qb that will probably cost Auburn a couple games.

He threw into coverage one other time when he threw into the end zone after scrambling . He threw the ball away a few times.

Maybe so. But I’d take Nix over Stidham every day of the week.

I didn’t like Stidham at all in your offense.

It works in Oregon’s favor for Auburn to win.

Wasn't half of Oregon's starting offense out for the game?

So Auburn barely beat a Oregon teams without 4-5 starters.

Oregon was missing 4 WRs off a subpar unit.

Why Steele didn’t start with a stacked box to start the game was a mistake. Michigan State did that from the get go.

Both teams coached scared. Auburn in the beginning and Oregon at the end.

Oregon got 330 total yards with a first round QB and the best OL in college football. Spin it any way you want.

In the moment, a win is a win. Looking forward, how you win matters and is indicative of future success. I’m not scared of Auburn this season. They are appropriately ranked at 16.

Not hearing anything about Auburn being lucky. That was a great victory against a quality opponent. Auburn alone helped the SEC save face in a very mediocre week for the conference. The 4th quarter was really exciting to watch. Congrats to Auburn!
