So we can all start using the word now without be called racist? Is that the modern thing? Or can only the 35 under crowd use it without it being racist?

There's a difference between "being called racist" and "being racist"

It is a double standard. No one is going to go after the poor, oppressed black kid. Simply be explained as not understanding their culture, or the poor circumstances he was forced into, etc. the plight of the black man in current day America, you know?

**** is a word like any other word. It is context-dependent.

Here, watch this. Not around your kids though. Language warning.

Such a double standard. What if Kaminsky would've said that about Harrison?

I tell you what,,, u mentioned your hs football locker room like it was the key to all your knowledge and experience, correct? Well, I left my college football locker room in the early 70's,,, so I have 2 questions for you. Who do you think has more experience with the world,,, and do you still want to keep crowing about your 20 year knowledge and playing this game, your call.

I tell ya what, take your 20 year old white arse and walk into a group of downtrodden good boys just trying to go to school and drop that word and see what they think.

People 35 and above grew up listening to NWA, Tupac et al. Pretty sure those dinosaurs know what's what on the n-word.

Breaking it down by age is dumb as hell in this situation.

I'm 45 and if the N word is going to be deemed as a racial slur it needs to be such period! Not this picking and choosing when it is or when it's not to your liking especially to/from blacks...you don't want it to be said to you set the damn example and stop using it period...

agreed. white people can't be held responsible for using a word that they demonized for hundreds of years when a black person can also say it

Thanks for teaching me about how the world works young buck. If you can now simplify the tax code and figure out how to have peace in the Middle East it would be appreciated!
