How about titles after WW2? Or desegregation?

Then I guess I went too far back. 61 years just felt like enough in the past to capture a picture that wasn't purely modern, modern era.

desegregation
Depends by whom. Georgia was one of the last teams to desegregate in 1972 (had AA players in 1971, but they couldn't play on Varsity until they were Sophomores).

USC soundly beat Alabama head to head in 1978. In 1974, AP champ Oklahoma was on probation.

Now count championships after 1975.

It's stupid to consider all schools that won all of their championships before 1940 as "blue bloods".

That USC team also was manhandled by Arizona.

The AP crowning National Champions is notated as the start of modern college football, and progressed to the BCS and now the CFP. I chose not to award championships in my count for split titles but only the #1 that was considered to be the authority at the time. If you want to award splits or nitpick, then have at it. I gave USC the 2004 title, but that was stripped, I don't see you arguing that one in your counts?!

If all of your national titles occured before black people were even allowed to attend college, you do not deserve to call yourself a blue blood.

If they are true football royalty, it doesn't really matter where you stop or start. They just keep showing up.

I know you are a troll but do 2000-2024.

As a fan of a team that is on this list, Notre Dame, they have not won a national title in my lifetime. I would trade the last 30 years of LSU football with the last 30 years of Notre Dame football in a hearbeat, and it isn't particularly close.
