It is...happens to a lot of people who were really good even in High School...

Rudy and Knute Rockney All American are two movies that almost make me not hate Notre Dame...and that takes a lot.

Good movie but the book is more of a better recommendation.

The Burlsworth family was approached by producers from Hollywood concerning a movie but they declined.

Well, you seem to be the only one who has gotten their pacifier-sucking feelings hurt about it. In fact, all the commenters on this thread have been surprisingly cordial. That's a bit of a rarity, on this board. Maybe we need to have threads like this on this board more often.

Varsity Blues. I have such an irrational love for it.

I don’t know why, but “Necessary Roughness” is a favorite

2 words. Kathy. Ireland. Any man who did not like the movie based on nothing more than Kathy Ireland being in those shorts and that T shirt is dead....they may be breathing, may be ambulatory...but they ain't living. Damn I got the sweats now thinking about it...

Exactly

Although it’s hilarious watching UGA not know what to do watching LSU and Florida play for a NC.

I loved Remember the Titans. I'm also a huge Denzel Washington fan.

It used numerous locations around Ga for filming including Etowah HS, Sprayberry HS in Cobb County and Grady HS in Atlanta. The campus of Berry College in Rome was mostly used for their football camp.

I liked Friday Night Lights mostly because my high school was (kinda) in it and that’s exactly what football looked like in Texas in 1990

I guess you could correlate that to South Carolina football... Sorry, dude, that was a mean thing to say.

Hey dude, I said at the beginning I was talking to football fans that have NO interest in sports other than football. I was NOT speaking in Swahili, I used regular ol English. Why are you even on this thread?
This might be hard for you to comprehend, but there really are sports fans that would rather watch congressmen debating ad valorem taxes on CSPAN than baseball or basketball or women's badminton or...whatever. And guess what, that's ok whether you think that or not.
You and the LSU guy need to go somewhere else and wallow in your anger and hurt feelings together. You knew what this thread was about.

Not a football movie, but I believe 'Revenge of the Nerds' was filmed at Kyle Field.

I've never seen Rudy all the way through...just the end where he gets that famous sack.

For the carnival and fundraiser scenes, the production team filmed at Texas A&M University’s Kyle Field. The Greek Games scenes were shot between East University Boulevard and East 4th Street on Cherry Avenue.
