When Foley starts to play the card that the area needs to save its hotels for hurricane victims and Aleeva offers to fly our team into Gainsville Sunday morning , play the game , and fly them out Sunday night, it only reaffirms to me that Foley never intended on playing LSU that week. He clearly used a natural disaster to avoid playing it and giving your starters that were hurt time to heal. I don't even fault Foley for attempting it and eventually pulling it off. The issue is with Sankey whose job it is to step in at that point. He should have made it clear that the game would be played either Sunday or Monday depending on the damage from the storm. As we all know there was no damage in Gainsville.

Jacknola makes a good point. I had forgotten that LSU was whining about having to travel to Florida with a hurricane coming. Seems to me that this whole thing is a two-sided problem with a ruse of a one-sided issue.
