I'm not worried, offense only needs to be average. I'm giddy thinking about how fricking nasty our defense is gonna be.

That ranks up there as the #2 dumbest thing he ever did right behind catching his own tipped pass. God he was just a crappy football player.

I think they'll be good. But UF gave up 200 yards or more rushing 4 times last year and 185 to UGA.

Depth should help with that a little bit, but the whole team needs more toughness. We'll know right away against A&M and that talented OL.

Dream on. If he is even Aaron Hernandez good it would be a huge help.

Yeah but aren't you worried that your offense might not be able to get anything going by getting three and outs and having turnovers causing the defense to stay on the field longer to where they get worn down?
Y'all have a pretty tough schedule full of teams with defenses better or equal to y'alls like USC, LSU, UGA, and FSU. All four of those teams should have better offenses than y'alls and Tennessee will too. That's gonna be really tough on your defense throughout the season.

That's what happened last year. Offensive production has nowhere to go but up.

The offense's biggest problem last year wasn't 3 and outs, it was turnovers. 26 turnovers lost, 13 INT, 13 fumbles, and a -12 TO margin, worst at UF in decades. That was the problem.

Turnovers cost UF in every swing game they played.

Fumble before half against USC was killed. Two fumbles inside their own 30 cost them against UGA, and three INTs all lead to all of FSU's points.

UF takes care of the ball and they'll win 9 games. That, however, remains to be seen.

With the current roster, 8 would be amazing

Dang. Florida is going to blow chunks this season. FSU is going to win for the 3rd year in a row.

I have a feeling FSU is gonna really stink it up this year.

They sure do seem to underperform under Jimbo. I wouldn't be surprised to see them with the usual 3-4 losses and wonder how they managed to drop one to someone like Boston College, UNC, NC State, or somebody like that.

As for UF, they need some of the younger guys to step up on offense, but they were close in some of their losses. They really only got dominated by LSU and Alabama.

This is my hope for the season.

With the current team, winning 8 or 9 games will be awesome, and should set up for great things in 2013.

Like I said, if they had taken care of the ball better, they would have been in a position to beat USC and FSU and would have certainly beaten UGA.

If UF has a positive TO margin next year and reduces the TO's in general, they will certainly win at least 8 games. Probably 9.

We'll see.

Too bad we still have more titles and lead the series by 12.

You mean the same offense that still lit up UT the past 2 seasons?
