I'm talking about total NCAA titles, not just gymnastics.

And now, Bama won the SEC Championship in gymnastics but lost to LSU at NCAAs in Bham.

This wasn't a head-to-head meet. This was the national championship. LSU finished third. Alabama fell apart on beam and barely finished fourth. Both teams lost to Florida and Oklahoma. There's no comparison, idiot.

So bama sucks again?

No the one girl Kim Jacob is usually very solid on beam. But she's a senior.
Bama and UF have some REALLY good underclassman coming back. They both "reloaded" their teams for next year too.

I think they said it's been 10 years since a 198 or better has been scored and two teams got it tonight. Pretty good meet.

Doesn't matter. It's not like either team has impact on the other team's performance, idiot. LSU still beat Bama, doesn't matter how it happened.

The following table ranks the current SEC schools by the number of NCAA recognized national championships each school has won. This does not include Division I-A/FBS football championships, equestrian championships, or unofficial championships in other sports such as men's basketball. However, it does include AIAW titles, which the NCAA has retroactively recognized as equivalent to its own national championships. The totals below include any championships that may have been won before the school was a member of the SEC.

UGA actually has 41 total national titles. LSU claims more than 42 as well.

Looks like Florida's gymnastics team picked up the basketball team's slack
