I know it was budded months ago, but they know for certain which teams have a chance to make it. Why not always have it in a place like New York or LA? Towns that are too big too allow what would be perceived as college influence.

Because it's not a big deal.

Not trolling, but why would they have an event like this only 50 miles from one participants campus?

They put the final teams in a hat last week and Alabama was selected. Alabama chose Birmingham.

Bama lost I think. That fall and current girl wobbled twice early

And btw, I'm not saying bama is cheating or anything. Just seems like in a sport with judges it is a huge advantage to have "home field"

Alabama rebounds from a Diandra Milliner fall with a 9.9 from Sarah DeMeo on the balance beam. DeMeo was on fire tonight.

Birmingham has hosted it before....other teams have hosted it on their campus. No one else is whining about it but you.

Damn, shush about home team advatage.

Bama had the early bye and the hardest rotation ( balance beam ) last.

If Bama wins they deserve it, if UF win they deserve it,if OU win they deserve it.

They are all great atheletes.

And it is was not smart when the other teams hosted. And it wouldn't be smart if LSU hosted. I'm not whining because we weren't going to win no matter where it was, but do you not agree it would make sense to have it in a college neutral environment?

I agree completely. My point wasn't that Bama is getting favoritism, it is why put it in a place where that can even be a thought in people's heads
