I'm not. I just find it funny the main fans in here pointing at UF are those of teams that UF beat.

So, it's your QB's fault?

Who have you recruited that is better? Felipe Franks? He throws a lot of picks from what I've seen.

FSU always seems to have quality QB's. I guess Jimbo is doing a better job at recruiting and development.

Franks/Trask will be the first QB to start that were recruited and developed by Mac. Other guys were bandaids for the whole Grier situation.

Bama fans don't think too much of McElwain's abilities.

Jimbo is a good coach, plus he has been there long enough to establish a strong foundation for his QB's to thrive.
When Mac arrived we were very slim on the OL -6 guys-and he basically had to build it from the ground up. Look at our starting Wrs,OL and RB's. All Macs guys except for a Jr Tackle and our TE. Last yr we had a transfer from Fordham at OT thats how bad it was.

I wasnt much for the Mac hire but it is what it is and i support him as the HC of my team.

He did walk into a mess on offense so im willing to give him time to see where it goes.

He was very raw when he arrived, had to shorten up his release and we hear he has improved. I wont hold a spring game against him. We'll see.

I expect the offense to improve somewhat but the defense to decline equally. I think it will be a wash.

Same thing LSU has done in recent years.

Thats pretty accurate imo. Depends on who our new DC is. We need a good recruiter.

Its absolutely true. Franks is garbage.

Mac recruited and signed LDR, AA, and Grady. None developed at all here.

You know, people were saying that about us going into this season. And on some levels, they were right.

However, we still won the east and beat LSU on the road. So, I don't know. We will lose some guys on defense, but we gain some on offense and another year of experience. We will see. Should be a close race in the east this next year regardless.

We were picked to be like 12th McElwain's first year and like sixth in the East this year. We get a quarterback, we're fine and back in the driver's seat.

Prime opportunity for the little schools of the SEC East

Two things:
1. This was said about Florida last year.
2. Which of the West schools (Outside of Alabama) played like a big school? It's time for the rest of the West schools to stop riding Alabama's coat tails and acting like they are something special.
