I think it's a great attitude for them to have.

Clemson and Duke are both good wins against pretty quality teams.

If it happens, how will FSU handle trailing in this game?

Florida State was trailing 3-17 to Boston College at one point. Florida State was up by 21 points early in the 4th quarter. I'd say they did just fine. Boston College is no Auburn. Regardless, Florida State has been playing much better football defensively since that game.

Beat Clemson 51-7 and Duke 45- 7

And I probably think the Duke game....was their worst offensive showing.

I think you guys should just go ahead and make a thread guaranteeing Victory, hack Winstons cellphone and leave dirty messages all night long.

This would show them that you mean business wareagle style!

I think it's a little unfair to say they haven't been tested at all. But their slate is without doubt easier than Auburn's.

Florida State is, in my opinion, a better team than Auburn. But then again, I thought Oregon was the better team too, and look how that turned out. Gus Malzahn is made of pure magic and football win, so FSU would be wise to stay focused.

Boston College was definitely their WTF slip up game, but Auburn lost to LSU and has had half a dozen close calls besides that. They had no business playing so close to Mississippi State and Washington State.

I hope they maintain that over confidence all the way up to the time Gus hoists the Crystal in the air.

I'm a Florida fan and so possibly completely wrong, but didn't Georgia lose their best WR on the first TD and not have Gurley for half the game? Clemson only won that game by 3 despite these factors (and also a miffed field goal if I rememr correctly) and then, in the biggest game they have ever had at ho

You are right about the WR, and Gurley did miss a portion of the game from the 2nd-3rd, but I'm pretty sure he played more than 1/2. That aside, this game was as healthy as UGA was all season and the team that Clemson played then followed up that loss with wins over USC and LSU - who both proved to be very good teams once the entire season played out.

Same attitude they had years ago. I've seen this movie before. Didn't work then and won't work now. Some things never change and that better include the SEC winning another BCS title against FSU.

GO AUBURN!

Overconfidence is the best way a "better" team will lose. I see it all the time.

I can definitely see that. Honestly I never really cared for the way Cam came off. I do think that Winston might pour it on just a little bit stronger, but hey, his teammates seem to respond well to it so more power too him. I want to see how he reacts after getting hit in the mouth a few times.....hopefully Auburn can provide that.

We (Auburn) weren't that good at the beginning of the year. Like most teams we've improved a lot over the course of the year but after LSU whooped us we used the by week to revamp the offense. If you notice most of our big passing games were in September. After that the coaching staff realized where the strengths were and changed things around. Lots and lots of people expected Auburn to lose to both of those teams.

Cam is very confident of his own abilities but I don't recall hearing him disrespect another opponent in the way these guys are.

Clemson gets discredited alot because they have been blasting teams in the ACC the last three years and their critics always come back with the "they haven't played or beaten anyone." However, since Morris and Boyd took over three years ago, in addition to steamrolling all the ACC scubs, Clemson has beaten Ohio State, LSU (without Watkins and Bryant), Virginia Tech (three times), Auburn (twice), Florida State and a healthy Georgia this past year. Clemson has proven that they can play with the big boys once they step out of the weak ACC conference. So, that being said, FSU's embarrassing blowout of Clemson should not be discounted simply because Clemson is an ACC school.

Yes, true, but then one remembers the 70-33 loss to West Virginia in the Orange Bowl and a big loss to FSU this year on the national stage. Clemson fans ought to be cheering for FSU really hard.

Reminds me of when we played Miami in 92, they were talking all kinds of shite before the game and we all saw how that turned out.

This is good for Auburn.

Me too, and my thoughts as well. I remember Miami saying Alabama hadn't played anybody and me 'ing.
