Can we just line Lawson up 10 yds back from the line of scrimmage in front of this guy then let him get a running start and smash his arse into the grass?

This game has 1992 Bama -vs- Miami & 1982 Penn St. -vs-Georgia written all over it. I wouldn't be shocked to see Auburn bring the wood -vs- FSU like Oklahoma did against Bama the other night. Disrespecting someone is a no no in any sport, and those who do it deserve all the bad that comes their way.

I know Auburn had some fortune along the way but it takes some serious resiliency to do what Auburn has done. Plus to overlook any team coming from a conference that's won 7 in a row is foolish, that simple.....

Amen. ESPN analysts are already talking like FSU has won the championship. Will they be considered the greatest team in the BCS era? Bla, bla, bla.

FSU players are giving zero respect to AU (per their interviews). If it happens, how will FSU handle trailing in this game? That's where Auburn has been tested a # of times this year. F FSU, go Auburn. dat azz.

Winston : "at Florida state, we control our own destiny. We aren't looking for miracles to happen...."

Kid does come across as being pretty cocky, but he has backed it up all season.

Heisman QBs have a very proud history of losing pretty soundly in the big game. Winston and the rest of the Criminoles better watch out

This feels more like Bama vs ND last year.
AU has beaten better competition but they were very lucky like ND was in several games. FSU will be ready. I can't imagine them over looking their first NC shot in 2 decades. Prepare thy anus aubie.

Agreed...I like how they compared beating Miami and Clempson as the big victories now I know that is the only opponents your team faced but come on lol

I posted this on the SEC Rant because I wanted the opinion of fans without a dog in the fight. I'm sorry if that offended anyone.

All their stats mean nothing until they actually prove they deserve to be ranked what they are. The Gators have had 100+ ranked offenses for three years straight, but we went into Tallahassee last year and dropped 37 points on the "#1 ranked defense" in the country @ home. Interesting to note is that 37 points is all the "all-world" Seminoles could drop on gimpy Florida this year.

Winston gets on my fricking nerves. I can't get I over this feeling that he comes off forced or fake when I see him speak. In the end he's a young kid though I guess. Either way, FSU seems cocky as hell.....probably the way they get in their desired headspace. I hope auburn comes out and punches them in the motherfricking mouth.

Flip side,in really like the way the Auburn players have represented themselves in the press. Really humble and just seem happy to be there,

You sound like a Bama fan circa 2010.

Clemson gets discredited alot because they have been blasting teams in the ACC the last three years and their critics always come back with the "they haven't played or beaten anyone." However, since Morris and Boyd took over three years ago, in addition to steamrolling all the ACC scubs, Clemson has beaten Ohio State, LSU (without Watkins and Bryant), Virginia Tech (three times), Auburn (twice), Florida State and a healthy Georgia this past year. Clemson has proven that they can play with the big boys once they step out of the weak ACC conference. So, that being said, FSU's embarrassing blowout of Clemson should not be discounted simply because Clemson is an ACC school.

I'm a Florida fan and so possibly completely wrong, but didn't Georgia lose their best WR on the first TD and not have Gurley for half the game? Clemson only won that game by 3 despite these factors (and also a miffed field goal if I rememr correctly) and then, in the biggest game they have ever had at home. Got blown the ever living frick out by FSU. Not so sure about Clemson atm.

Going into the UF vs FSU game last year my FSU friends kept saying "we have the #1 defense, you might not even score a TD on us at home" and got pissed when I asked who have they played. Well.. 37 points later... Who have they played?

That is exactly the wrong attitude to have going into any game, let alone one against a great opponent.
