You had a week to reschedule and didn't. You were stupid. Now you want us to lose $2 million to play University of Forfeit on 11/19. Why should we? If you want to play so bad now pay LSU $2 mil and we'll come to the Swamp. Otherwise quit bitching. We wanted to play this week, you didn't.

Florida fans are delusional on this. unreal.
Florida fans are pussies, Florida's AD is a pussy and UF's team is full of bitches.
It's pitiful. UF ran off scurred. Pitiful

I understand that line of thinking, especially from Tiger and Vol fans. I don't believe that is the opinion of most unbiased observers, but it is completely reasonable. If the shoe was on the other foot, I may feel the same way, even though I'd be open to looking at the facts and changing my mind. That seems to be something most of the LSU and Vol fan base are unable to do at this time.
It does set up well for us though, I won't deny that. We rest our players and if UF and LSU win out and need this game again, you can be damn sure that y'all will cancel that USA game and come to Hogtown ready to play. That is what I want to happen most. That would be an EPIC game.
I actually really enjoy LSU fans. I've been to Baton Rouge a few times and always enjoyed it. Y'all have a great tailgate experience. Hopefully, we can get a game played this year. It would be best for both programs.

Where is the wonderful article of why Sunday or Monday in Gainesville was not an option?

Well at least we are not afraid to cross the street without holding our parents hands. Children should be seen and not heard little fellow.

Sunday or Monday wasn’t going to happen either, when you don't know what this storm could end up doing over the weekend and when you consider that the security Florida uses for its games wasn’t going to be around because it had more important things to do, like tend to people in need around the state dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.

The entire premise of your second point is based on UF being scared to play LSU, which is entirely false
I never said UF was scared to play LSU I did say that they didnt WANT to play LSU. Big difference, its beneficial to UF if this game doesn't happen - there really is no debating this point! So I honestly do believe that that played a part in this debacle.
Plus lets not forget that FLORIDA not LSU is OBLIGATED to LSU and the SEC to host / play / participate in a college football game on or around Saturday, October 8th 2016 either in Gainesville or somewhere else thats available and an appropriate venue. This is squarely on Florida and no one else period.
Not sure why or how anyone from Florida's administration or fan base can argue this? To attempt to flip this around and try to place some kind of onus on LSU to bend over backwards, lose not only an open date before the most physical game of the year but also millions of dollars and open themselves up to possible litigation for breaching a contract with South Alabama is not only pathetic but has no merit to it at all!

The players, coaches, and fans absolutely want to play LSU. The rest of our home schedule blows this year! This was THE marquee hone game that fans and recruits were going to show up and show out for. This is a gut punch to our recruiting, which needs all the help it can get right now.
From the SEC East race perspective, you are absolutely right. If the game isnt played, it really isn't a bad outcome for UF. This puts UF in a position of leverage when negotiating so you can see why they are sticking to their guns on it staying in Hogtown, regardless of LSU's position.
This is a sucky situation all the way around. Hopefully we both win out and they make it happen 11/19.
