Florida ran away from playing LSU, used Hurricane as an excuse

Run Gator Run. LSU got screwed by the SEC. This fiasco is helping give BAMA and Florida the inside track to the Championship game, not that BAMA needs help. BAMA is a damn strong team who has the best chance of winning it all again. LSU is a HOT team with a new coach with some reenergized MOJO. Florida could not afford a SEC loss. Foley, Florida and the SEC ran away from playing LSU. LSU offered to play the game anywhere anytime. Foley, Florida and the SEC never asked LSU to move the South Alabama game. ESPN's McMurray lied in his article and the LSU Atheltic Director called it an outright lie. The Bottom Line is that the SEC Champion will not be determined on the field, but behind closed doors. This judgement establishes a precedent that any team can cancel a game if they don't want to play it. Run Gator Run.

Florida would have beat LSU anyways. Doesn't really matter.

Then it's a shame for UF team and fans that the UF admin didn't think so and orchestrated a cancellation.

Why risk getting players hurt in a game you know you would win? Pretty smooth move by the Gators. Keep those players fresh and healthy for an SEC East title run.

Because a W is better than a tie - IF you really think you can win. Oops, and there goes the value of your pathetic troll.

Just schedule it for Nov. 19th. Sure you'd rather play S. Alabama, put if you want to be in the hunt like the rest of us, pony up and make it happen.

You lost it there ^^^^ After all the media scrutiny, the next time this happens (hurricane impacting a conference game) the SEC's hand will be forced to relocate the game. Just opinion. Live and learn.
Yeah it sucks.....but really, who in their right mind truly believes this game would make a difference. If it comes down to UF and TN, obviously Tenn should get in the Championship game. Tenn. won the head to head, and UF's AD puss'd out of a game at the first opportunity. The SEC should not award cowardice.

Almost all rational fans disagree with LSU fans and realize that LSU was trying to use a possible natural catastrophe to strong arm the UF admin. UF isnt going to bend to LSUs demands. Deal with it. Over half of UF's players could have, or had, family affected by the storm. Security personnel and other emergency personnel were diverted to areas of need.
If you wanna play, we'll see you on Nov 19. Otherwise, quit yer bitchin.

Not in this case. A W is the same as not playing due to TN having the tie breaker. TN is going to lose two SEC games though.

Except every other college in Florida was able to get their game scheduled.
If you were playing Kentucky, the game would be in Mobile or temporarily moved to Sunday until you saw the damage.
If you were playing Bama, the SEC would have forced you to make a decision.
Instead you acted like a bunch of scared pussies and are the only game canceled in America.

UCFor and UF, the two team that were projected to be in the storms path postponed. This is not difficult to grasp.

it's amazing how it can go from "Gainesville won't be touched" to "zomg pray for us, we're gonna take a direct hit" in one day despite no major projection change

Yeah and lose out on all the revenue to cater to the gaytors. You or any other fricks in the league would do that. And now faggie answer why the game can't be moved to Monday. LSU is fine with playing it in Gainesville Sunday or Monday. The gaytors don't want to play because they are beat up. Now shut the frick up

If a team is to chicken poop to play then they should strap on flags and go play intramural. It is not LSU's fault UF shat the bed recruiting and has no depth. Or that thier Ath. Dept. are pansies. UF will now and forever stand for Undisputed Fraidy-cats
