It's a huge exaggeration

But I will add this. If other UK fans think this is the biggest game in program history, I'll just shake my head and move on to something else.

This. Beating #1 LSU would be way bigger.

Hey tight pants....you are coming to the Swamp before too long...your season is already ruined..but we will make it a full blown disaster. Your first ever SEC game 2012 with College Gameday and your home crowd cheering on & SEC commish trying to stack the deck against us, but it turned into your first official SEC loss. Oh my.

When you've owned someone for 30 straight years.

Kind of hard not to laugh when they act as though winning isn't a big deal.

Literally the biggest game in your programs history the last 30 years. Take driver seat in the East, end the longest streak in the nation. Huge recruits at the game. Changes national perception of UK

Yes. This is easily the biggest game at UK in 30 years. You beating LSU was a great win, but beating UF shows a change of culture at UK. That win just lead to an average season where you lost games you shouldn't have. So yes. Beating Florida is more important than any other game you've played in. Not like you have any bowl games that matter, nor conference title games tghat matter in that time frame. This is the big dog. Is UK finally better than an occasionally disrupt in the East, and ready to possibly contend?

I now know why people use the #Florida hashtag.

No its really not. If we beat Florida then great the monkey is off our back we'll celebrate like crazy and move on. If we lose to Florida its just another year. Every SEC game is the next biggest game. In two weeks Missouri will be the biggest game for Kentucky.

Frickin drama queens.

No.

I don't have any issue with fans rushing the field in this case because of the streak but you've got a real self-inflated sense of self worth.

2007 alone had bigger games than this.

What games are bigger for the image of your program?

Not one. Easily the biggest. You losing to UF for 30 years has made your program a joke. This is the only way for UK to gain respect. Beat UF. That simple.

Nice coach speak. No one believes coach speak but coaches, well actually they don't believe it either.

Have to say I agree with Gatorbait. We haven't been respected on a national scale since ever that I've been alive. This season doesnt have the potential to be "special" without a win over the gators. Like 30 recruits at the game, being undefeated overall and in conference, two should be wins in the next two weeks, chance to start 6-0, leading the east, etc. This game is absolutely the biggest game in the past 30 years. Changes the perception of UK football for the near future. This game is absolutely huge. No other way to put it.

Thank you. It's not me pumping UF. The streak will always be bought up till it is ended. Add in it makes UK the SEC East leader. This is a program changing game for UK. No other way to put it. Even if you lose and do well, there is well they still can't beat Florida.

Florida may not be the same animal, but we are the best SEC East program. So UK has to end the stigma to gain respect. It's kind of that simple.

There's no denying it's a big game that could be seen down the road as a turning point. That said, Florida fans are overestimating their team's cache (don't know how to do an accent aigu on the phone).

So, I disagree with everyone.

Nope. UK should win tomorrow. If not, it could be another 10 years. We suck.

I want Mac gone now. So, UK ending the streak is a means to an end for me.

I want Mac gone too. If we lose to UK, I am not going to cry. Only furthers the chances of Bob Stoops or Dan Mullen coming home.

I just don't see us losing. Mac has habitually beaten schools he should to pump his record and make some ignore his paltry record vs good teams.

When is the last time we both sucked at the same time? Outside of 2014 I think at least one of us has been a 10 win team for a couple of decades

ETA: y'all only had 9 in 2016, but i think one of your cupcakes got cancelled due to our reschedule.

Very true. Man I miss the Tiger/Gator games of last decade. That was the game to mark on the calender as a must see.

Maybe not suck, I'm sure we'll give most people hell like late 2014 after a couple of embarrassments. But we are not the LSU/UFs that 95% of opposing fans just hope for a close game anymore.

It can come back quick though.
