FIFY

Yes, UF is a young team overall. Gonna take some lumps as they begin to play together. Talent is there

I think this is key. Kentucky needs to keep the ball and go on extended drives. Will keep our defense from getting too tired too quick.
We also won't have our best player again this week, so ball control will become even more important.

Extended drives will wear that Gator defense down by the 4th quarter. Florida doesn't have a great running game and Franks is still coming into his passing game at the college level. The more quick 3 and out Kentucky can force Florida into the better. I'd crowd the line, show Franks different looks, confuse him and force him into bad decisions. A couple of turnovers can mean the ball game.

The only thing that gives Kentucky a chance whatsoever is Florida having so many players suspended and Kentucky is playing at home. Kentucky has n't been able to generate offense against anyone all season. They couldn't even muster more than 27 points and an 11 point win over FCS Eastern Kentucky.

Sure it's possible as Florida hasn't been able to generate offense on anyone either, but Florida beat Kentucky last year 45-7 with Del Rio as QB.

Maybe some Kentucky fans can shed some light as I'll admit I don't exactly keep up with Kentucky's roster, but Kentucky hasn't really had a football team that scared anyone since Woodson was the QB. I think the only real safe bet in this game is that there likely won't be many points scored.

That is well. Quick 3 and outs and short drives will hurt Florida badly. Kentucky's defense needs to step to the challenge to ensure this.

Admittedly we did struggle finding an offensive line unit the first two games and rotated a lot of guys out of position due to injury but the game plan for Kentucky all season so far has been grind it out on the ground and keep the ball away from the opponent.

Side note. The first half of the Eastern Kentucky game we played completely uninspired football. The team was flat as hell out of the gate. Kentucky isn't good enough to get away with that.

Florida is going to have a tough time moving the ball, but they can boot it through the uprights once they get to to the 40 yard line

So can we. Macginnis can boot it from 50+ consistently.

I hear the UK athletic department is installing a new set of goal posts this week that can be quickly snapped open and folded down.

I think UF's secondary will be able to lock down their receivers allowing the D to crowd the box for KY's run game.

Each game is a game into itself. EKU is a pretty decent team and has a lot of D1 players on their squad.

I would not argue with this, but this is by far the best overall team we have had since 2007-9, more depth, and more talent.

As far as tomorrow night, we will have to play the game and see.

We've had those since we beat Alabama and some frat got new yellow post wall art.

Unless we take some big losses running I'd be amazed if we threw the ball more than 10 times in the game. We're only averaging 22 attempts passing per game. Heck we may still stick with the run even if we're taking losses.

Kentucky's receivers can get open; the OL is the big question mark. Sucked against S Miss and EKU, a little better against USCe, but still not very consistent

Im sure he only meant they've hit the Prison League recruiting system hard in the offseason under new head coach Larry Elder. During the game the ESPN nerd said they have as many 4 and 5 stars in they're secondary as most SEC schools. I have no idea if thats true or not. I do know both their starting wide outs and are transfers from Tennessee, Uconn and the starting RB is from Louisville.

Still no excuse though.

They have had those collapsible goal posts for years.

Please UK, if you beat Florida don't embarrass yourself by rushing the field.
