And, Gator fans, how about we do this. Instead of all of us pointing out an indisputable fact and y'all getting defensive (pun not intended. How about you tell us why your offense has been so dreadful the last four games. Because I'm legitimately curious. What happened? Why is it that your offense went from serviceable to scoring 9 points on a UGA defense that UT scored 44 on. And then scoring 14 on a Mizzou defense that Tennessee --just using them as an example --scored 48 on.
How can you compare utensuck offense to UFs? You guys scored all those points and got what out of it? A W? Nope.
Our oline is banged up and not playing well, we had 3 different OC in 3 years, we changed from spread to pro style with mostly spread players but they played just good enough to beat LSU, Vandy, Texas A&M and for the 8th straight year UTenn. We dont care how we win as long as we win. We are aware of FSU but we think we can win a close one.

Is this solely based on defense/special teams? Are you thinking you win like a 9-7 game? Not flaming, just I don't know many gator fans who feel confident

Well...guess that ends the debate right there. How could be have been so wrong when faced with such blistering retort of facts?
You gamble yet you didn't know your own team lost to Vandy...right...so you are a lying child. Then you claim UT has not been known for a good defense so obviously your football knowledge extends back as far as the year you could legally vote.
Remind me where any Gator fan is saying we have a good offense. I mean what the fck do you fools want? Us to forfeit our wins because you think we don't deserve them?
Like I said...childish...come back when you are as mature as you are pretending to be.

yes. UF's punting game is a huge strength and probably FSU's biggest weakness. It'll come down to who makes the least mistakes because I don't see either offense moving the ball much. I think we'll control field position and force a couple turnovers. I think it'll be a 17-14 type game.

Let me help you out here, you seem a bit confused. You don't have to explain why you win, you have to explain why you lose. So let's hear why the vols have sucked for a decade. Get to the point and don't ramble.

Pretty much, the best defenses FSU faced I think was VT at 37 and clemson at 69. We are ranked around 4th. If it stays close, we will close out the game. JMO

Lafayette gave UF a better game than LSU did.
Posted on 11/19/12 at 5:50 pm to CP3LSU25
It's similar to the last four games LSU played last season.

Lafayette was on a mission for real. Really good team and well coached.

All of our OL starters have been missing for at least 1 game, and all have been limited since Vandy
James Wison had a eye injury, was able to return for SC, and then has had a bad knee since then.
Jon Harrison (center) suffered a hyperextended elbow since Vandy.
X Nixon a upper body/ concussion during the Vandy game, and then a knee injury when he came back for SC
Chaz Green has had a bad ankle for three games. Has not played the last two.
Halapio has had a bad knee for the last three weeks.
Ian Silberman is out for the season since LA Lafayette (shoulder).
We had a decent line when healthy, but no depth. It has been a mash until since Vandy, all starters have been hurt, and many of the back ups.
I don't care how good you are, without a healthy OL you cannot run or pass. And Jeff got hurt at the LA Lafayette making things worse.
Some players have been held, freshmen have played, just because of the competition of the last two weeks.
I expect the OL to be a little healthier. They were good against LSU. Then it has been a mash unit, and it has shown. Chit happens. Our offense is terrible because our talent is lacking, and we cannot block anyone hurt.
I expect them to give all they got this weekend. I think we will be at the SC level at least. Not as decimated. Jeff is going to play too. How healthy? We shall see. I think we have a good chance of winning with defense and special teams.

I'm not sure how anyone can disrespect what UF has done this year.....I mean hell they have only lost 1 game. Sure they haven't looked great the last 3-4 weeks but that can all be remedied this weekend.
I think that if ND loses to USC then UF should get the shot to play Bama in the Natty......I don't think the natl media will let that happen though.

Yes but the ostrich act won't help against FSU, they aren't ULL. The OP has a legitimate question.
