quote:I really hate that. I wish they were coming in full strength. If we win it will be because of the injuries, if we lose, it will be a huge upset. It would be more satisfying to beat UF at full strength.
Best safety is out, best linebacker is out, second best linebacker is out, one of our best defensive linemen is out. Pretty much everyone on defense is out,

quote:Agreed. Although UF defense < Bama Defense, especially with all the injuries.
Florida may very well make this a tough game. LSU has not done well against the 3 real good Defensive teams it has faced this season. UF's D is pretty strong and likely will keep LSU's rushing attack a lot more under control than Arkansas did.

When we had a healthy Defense, we had a shot, even with the anemic offense. Probably no realistic shot now, might be able to keep it within 20.

It's going to be 78-0 and A&M will rejoice.

Regarding the comment that "Appleby" is a better QB". Not a flame but a legit question: why/how did Del Rio beat him out then? What is the main difference?
Appleby actually has an arm, but he started in Neyland and when we collapsed a lot of Gator fans blamed him.
Del Rio has a better short to medium game, but Appleby is way better at reading defenses and the like.

but Fournette is banged up again, too.
frickin' sucks, man. I've always been a fan of Fournette and just want him to be healthy.

Shouldn't have made fun of Big Mike on the sidelines after his death.
I am calling an arse kicking.

I hate Foley more than all our fans combined. So I say this out of respect for them. Gargle some bleach, slit your wrists and jump into a pool filled with piranhas. Thanks. Refresh my memory which AD wanted to end our series because the game made your schedule harder and only wanted to play us this year on your bye if Bama played the same day? It wasn't Foley.

Its already been debunked that it wasn't Mike, but as LSU fans said, the damage is done.
LSU fans worked very hard on this site and through Twitter world to blast that all over the place into getting their beloved Tigers to believe it.
And they succeeded.
Florida has no shot in this game. None.
Upset of the century if UF wins on Saturday.

Actually I'm not sure who yalls punter is but our punter has been playing lights out the last month oh and he's another Aussie like the first one who taunted yalls team. Gl to FL hope we both play injury free ????

My take....Gators have 7 starters missing for the game and you know what? Its next man up MFers. Our DL is still a force to reckon with. LBs...missing two starters and the backups can hold their own. DBs? Missing star safety, but backup # 26 is playing lights out...along with the two best corners in the country.
That said...its the offense that has to keep chains moving some to prevent defense from tiring out and keep the crowd noise down. Appleby has twice the arm that Del Rio has and he is going bombs away to back off the LBs & safeties. It will be tough running against LSU but we have to keep pounding it and mixing it up. Appleby is a pretty fair runner also and is around 6'4" 235.
Special teams is one of the the strengths of our team actually. Fast Eddie can kick long arse FGs, our punter Johnny Townsend is booming them and flipping fields and Antonio Calloway is dangerous as punt returner.
Our OL is missing two starters and we moved a guard to LT and used a backup who has never started at guard, plus we have our third string center in now. Color me not worried and the Gators will show up ready....no excuses.

And they would kick the shite out of Tenn as well. I don't see how Tenn fans have a leg to stand on.

How chippy is this game gonna get?
I foresee a lot of shenanigans after the whistle.
