LSU has one of the nations best RB and a good Oline

So does Miami....they couldn't run against us
So does Arkansas....after the 1st quarter they could run on us either

Sorry, but you're not gonna run on our D all game long...we're built to be a 4th quarter team. The farther into the game we get, the better we get.

2011 is worn out.

2012 is losing your best lb's on a drive.

Our oline averages 300 plus pounds. Then you have our big arse TE's and this guy

Hill
2013 79 593 7.5 69 9

Duke Johnson
2013 84 572 6.8 53 4

Collins
2013 113 651 5.8 55 3

We've faced good RB's.....

It is not just hill that causes issues, it is the tandem of Copeland blocking and blowing open holes. If he gets to your linebackers it will be a long day for you

Copeland is a beast....hands down my favorite LSU player. Damn wrecking ball.

But, as I've said, we've faced them before (don't remember if Hill was in last years game-but y'all have enough RB's to compensate)

At the time IIRC Blue was and Ware. Hill is definitely a different back. He has a second gear

We will win the stats battle in rushing by games end except for only ONE thing...turnovers. If we do not turn the ball over at all...we win Saturday, no ifs buts or maybes. However, transversely...if we do put ball on the ground and let you get 2 score lead in third qt then our OC will have to give up on gameplan and play from behind throwing. You DO NOT want to throw when the other team KNOWS you have to throw.

If we don't turn the ball over then our long drives will have Metty on sidelines watching game and our defense will thwart your offense enough to let us kill plenty of clock. We have to perform at peak level and not beat ourselves...we don't have a turnover it will be sad day in red stick. If we have enough turnovers to resemble a Danish bakery then it will be a sad day for us.

I think a lot of LSU fans have seen very little of UFs defense and what our defensive pressure does to teams. Fowler & Powell are monsters and a DE who moved over to DT, Bullard is fairly quick. We have Orr, Jacobs, Cummings also inside and they are wide loads..Orr is a sculpted as a DT and wont give up ground.
The DL will tie up the OL and allow our LBs to plug the gaps. You wont 1 tackler...you four or five around the ball with our defensive speed. Our LBs can cover RBs and TEs and limit damage on sideline plays.
DBs? Holy Tunafish, its embarrassing to have these riches and expect all kinds of pressure on wrs...they can expect "handsy" playmakers. I( smell 3 picks.

I have watched enough of both teams to know that UF has a good defense, but I don't think you have watched enough LSU. Our offense for the first time in a long time has multi dementions. You can't stop all of them no way no how

None of those teams have the horses up front like LSU does. Hill hasn't been getting a ton of snaps either. Look at his ypc average

I still do not see how UF can stay in Man Coverage when we pass out of the power I.

I don't give a shite your CBs are, you are not locking down both OBJ and Landry. It aint fricking happening.

And the Hill talk is funny.

His biggest games are in SEC play.

UGA sold out on the run and Hill still had 4ypc.

Football still is a numbers game.

That wasn't "bait."

Johnson and Hill are both good backs. UF shut Johnson down. We'll see what Hill can do against our defense.
