Are you not coming down to miami for this noon kickoff then?

I've been to Dolphins games in early September. Nothing like Gainesville in September.

It's hot but not throwing up hot.

UF 24-17.

Ugly, sloppy game, possible chance of rain.

Duke Johnson does a lot of damage in the 1st half, but as what happened last year, Muschamp makes adjustments at half, and the defense shuts down Miami in the 2nd.

Driskel 14/22 215 yards 1 TD 1 INT
Matt Jones 17 carries, 95 yards
Mack Brown 14 carries, 123 yards 1 TD

Demarcus Robinson will catch his 1st ever College touchdown.

It will be 100% full when your mustard colored team comes in a couple weeks. 8 straight and counting.

I didn't know it was more humid up there. Not saying it isn't I just figured it couldn't be much more swampy feeling than Miami or like Houston...but i guess the field is named the Swamp

It's the way and where the stadium is built too. It's horrible in the stadium on those early kick off during September.

Any game in mid-late October - November is awesome though.

The lower part of the stadium and field are both below ground level too.
Anyhow, we got stuck at noon because ND @ Michigan got the night slot.

It isn't. Not a whole hell of a lot of difference this time of year. Main difference is the length of the hot summer weather (lasts until Nov in Miami) and higher temps in the "winter" in Miami.

Florida Field is probably hotter though. It is weird walking to that stadium. You see the top of it almost sticking out of the ground as you walk downhill towards it.

It's hotter in G'ville because of the lack of a breeze more often than not. Miami should have a decent breeze going. That makes a huge difference in the relative humidity.

Champ wants to run, run, run and maybe sprinkle some run in there just for spice.Control the clock and hold miami under 100 yards rushing and 125 passing and should be fine.

Typically I hate noon games for UF, but against Toledo we seemed to get it out of our system and came out really strong. If we start the way we did in that game, it should be a good game for the Gators.

I've always wondered how many heat strokes in one season it would take before they move all our games in August and September to the evening/night.

UF by 10-14

I don't think Miami will move the ball much. We will run a lot and wear down their front 7. Probably a 21-10 type game

You must forget that our OLine is a bit banged up.

I agree that UF SHOULD wear Miami down, but UF might rush 35-40 times for only 180 yards.

This is gonna be a close game through the 3rd Q, and I think the defense or special teams will make a few "knockout" type plays that will put the game away.

I'm telling yall: Keep an eye on VH3 in the secondary. That kid is special.

I feel good about this game.

For the Aubren fan: games are not won on emotion or desire. And I doubt Florida players will have less anyway. The talent disparity is there, specially in defense. Will Florida exploit it? I think we will, and when we pull away, expect running and more running- it is champ's way.

I'm sure Pease will have something for da U. We will have three players back. We win this one without much drama.

And Gainesville is hotter than Miami. The lack of breeze makes August hell there. I spent an August/September 9 months pregnant in Gainesville and it was hell on earth.

FAU is pretty bad, but was able to move the ball on Miami. They had 133 rushing yards.

Miami's offense put up a lot of yards, but honestly, FAU was really overmatched.

Two things should happen in this game.

1. Miami won't be able to run the ball. Duke may hit a big play or two, but as long as UF doesn't allow those big plays to = touchdowns, UF should be in control.

2. UF is going to be able to run the ball for a lot of yards, which will make life easy on Jeff Driskel, and Miami just won't have the ball a lot.

UF will wear Miami down, and I think ultimately win by a 10-14 points. I wouldn't be surprised if it is close for most of the game though. Miami is going to be sky high for this one.

Dream scenario: Driskel passes for 250 yards and a couple TDs with Dunbar, Fulwood and Robinson all getting their touches. Matt Jones runs for a cool 125 and a couple TDs and our defense shuts down Duke Johnson and the UM offense.

Realistically: We wear them down in near the end of the third and own the TOP in the 4th to come out with ~10 point win or so. Driskel passes for 175 yards and is stripped once.

Its normally hell, but this year its worse.

Its the worst summer I can remember in any place that I've lived, and I lived in Southwest Georgia for 14 years.
