He is not. But the local radio, fans, former players, etc are pointing to this one as a statement game and have been for a while. We will see how that turns out.

Sort of like Notre Dame last year? Or FSU?

That was, for all intents and purposes, supposed to show that "The U" was back. They weren't.

No. Hype for this game is much bigger than either of those right now. Much.

I will agree with you on this. Teams tend to focus on the most difficult opponent they have each each year....for Miami, that's us...for us, it ain't Miami.

Yup. This is Miami's biggest game of the season and in a few season actually since the teams do not play often.

It is not even top 3 for UF.

This is by far the biggest home game for Miami. They only play two currently ranked teams, UF and FSU(which is away).

I think the "U" will be up and thier fans will return for this game.

Miami isn't good. Don't buy into the media hype. This is a bad team comparable to tennessee last year. I see a few pick Miami, turn on Miami vs ND last year. You won't after watching it.

Florida wins easily after a decent first half. 35 - 14

This is a HUGE game for Miami. For recruiting, for talking right, and for pride. Who knows if or when these two teams will ever meet again.....Miami needs this win.

Look for shady ACC officiating early & often.....

How in the world do you presume to know how much emphasis the UF coaches have put on this game compared to the Miami coaches?

Fans? Who cares? They are Miami fans. There are too few of them that really care about Miami football to matter. We'll probably have them outnumbered there.

I'm not sure what your line of thinking is on this one.

Did you see them play last year against good defenses? They were atrocious.

Dude, be quiet. Fans and alumni don't play the game. UF may just out number those that are putting a greater emphasis on this gm, as you say.

An SEC crew will be calling this game. Road teams bring the officials.

I'll NEVER, EVER go to an early game again in August. I had to leave in the 3rd quarter it was so fricking hot.

frick that 12:30 bullshite starting time in the Swamp.

Are you not coming down to miami for this noon kickoff then?

Miami is talented, they always are. Can they put it together like they did against Oklahoma a few years ago? I dunno. I think the Gators win, but I am intrigued by the matchups, since UF's offense is the question mark as is UM's D, and vice versa with the strengths.

I'll say something like 30-20 Gators

I live in Miami. The Gator alums down here are just as excited. UM fans are doing a white out so it'll be clear who has more fans on Saturday.

Tickets on Stubhub are $115, next "expensive" ticket is for VTech at $11.

Do UM fans get up for noon games after partying all night in South Beach? I bet Gators outnumber Canes by 2 to 1.
