What an ignorant bunch. You have a cat 4 hurricane bearing down on you and they are trying to justify playing in Gainesville. I hope LSU beats the ever living shite out of them wherever that play. Just absolutely ignorant.

I'm totally believable.

Ask me who the first President of the US was? I'll prove it.

I really hope Florida escapes unscathed and there's no damage or injuries, but I agree with OP. Nevermind the football game, the resources that are needed to put on an event like that in Gainesville should be used for public safety and preparation instead. It's foolish to divert those resources for a football game.

Just cancel the damn game. It's not like either team will make the playoffs anyway.

Just because you want a free home game that you don't deserve, don't gripe on here. Play in the rain.

Its not about the game, its about using resources for the game that should be in disaster recovery mode for the city and surrounding areas.

Takes a lot of infrastructure strain to support a football game of this size.

It's pretty irresponsible. It's not about the weather on Saturday at all.

Relax new guy. Just let it play out. Some LSU fans would do the exact same thing.
