The offensive game plan was total garbage. Driskel had 21 carries, and threw the ball like 25 times, mostly to the same two players.

Lane and Taylor only combined for two carries for some reason. Matt jones was hurt and it was like Muschamp didn't know how to use his back up RB's or something.

The man was a fricking idiot about offensive game planning.

Tevin Westbrook sealed Muschamp's fate in this game.

Amazing how close we were to having a possible 9 or 10 win season... Should have beaten LSU and South Carolina. Not to mention how close we were to beating fsu. Idaho was canceled so that would have been even better.

Debose almost singly handily did that by himself. Took one to the house and set up the other two with very long runs.

He was pretty much your only threat all night

But I gotta remember this all contributed to that clown being fired.

Seriously, Westbrook dropping that ball was one of the most mixed feelings ever- on the one hand you want to win, on the other hand Muschamp is an idiot and having him near your program in any capacity over the last decade or so has been a recipe for gradual decline and eventual failure. How bad of a coach and a recruiter is Will Muschamp-- well on the most important play of the LSU game he had a converted 3 star DE in as the primary target because his dumbass couldn't recruit/develop a TE.

don't forget giving it to the smallest offensive player on the team (Powell) to carry it up the gut in a goaline situation.

And then Westbrook made a crazy catch for a td late against Missouri the next week that didn't matter.

If the starting TE didn't get a season ending injury the first game of the season we would have won that game.

I wish I could forget the LSU, USC, Missouri, and FSU games

Think of it this way-- if we win those games we're stuck with Muschamp for another couple of seasons, and I think we all know by now (and most us knew by say Halloween 2013) that Will Muschamp was never going to be a Florida level head coach.

Learn to stop the run and you have a chance to win. They knew LSU had to run and couldn't stop it. Maybe this year they play the run better.

Our upgrade at Defensive Coordinator should help there.

# 87 graduated thank God....couldnt catch a cold. A lot of dropped passes and the deflection & pick with less than 2 minutes left wasnt Driskel's fault. # 1 also dropped a pass and the team couldnt push LSU's DL back in the middle and thats why JD ran the ball so many times...LSU was trying to force us to throw and we just didnt have talent at WR except # 11.

We dominated the game for the most part and also dominated the mistake stats...we kept hurting ourselves. LSU played smart..their offense was just as bad or worse than ours and they stuck to gameplan...run run run and did not allow Jennings to lose it.

Forgot about the ridiculous 3rd and 27 or some shite that LSU converted to set up their last TD.

SHouldn't have came down to Driskel getting our WR killed at the end of the game

Did Champ call the plays on offense? Did he decide on personnel on O? Honest question

Terrible game. Another example of a Miles team playing down to its level of competition and nearly losing. Florida should have, and would have, won had it had a competent head coach.

And LSU got burned by its special teams coverage, which was horrible all year. Of course, that's what happens when you take a co-coordinator of one of your worst defenses in school history and bring him back five years later as special teams coach.

There's been significant hints that he let the OCs call the plays most of the time but dictated the strategy down to the pace and run-pass mix-- look at how 3 different OCs, from 3 different systems, all became run heavy, clock-eating coaches (with variations in scheme) as soon as they took over in the Swamp.

In fairness Kick Returns were the one thing Debose didn't really bust at (blame Champ for this as well- just run him deep 2 or 3 times a game), he left as the SECs alltime leader in KR TDs.
