Florida fans, anything to deduce from last year's LSU game for this year?

So the SECN is counting down their top 20 games of '14 (yay football!) and UF/LSU is about to start. I'll probably check some of this out, because football.

I realize that UF has a brand new staff this year, but is there anything at all I can see in this game that I can extrapolate to next year? Driskel is starting so obviously I can't use QB play. Anyone at RB or WR or on defense that will play a big part next year I should keep my eye on?

The game hasn't started yet btw so some of these may be dumb questions.

no problem, I never saw any big announcements about it but I flipped on the channel guide earlier this week and was like 'whoa, this will be nice'. I think there's only 1 UGA game and it was the loss to SC, they're showing that later tonight. I believe this game is ranked 12th. #1 was bama ole miss.

Reminiscent of the 2009 concussion game.

I'm interested to see if Florida's new coach will have his players take a knee when one of his players is injured.

Other than the fact that Tevin Westbrook can't catch, nope.

I'm glad Debose is finally gone. LSU is the only team he ever shredded nearly every year... well every year he wasn't injured.

I'd pay more attention to Florida on D, especially DBs. The offense was 90% Driskel that game.

How? That Bama-OM game was boring as anything. They only put it on there because it was a big upset.

I was there. It was electric. Especially the 2nd half.

What I would deduce is that Florida should still have some solid defensive players. And their offense can't get any worse.

With Auburn and Texas A&M we are talking about a small improvement in defense being a game changer. For Florida if they can find a pulse on offense they have a very solid platform to rebuild.

They need to get Andre Debose the ball this season. What year is he again?

(Shocked at the common sense post here.)

The only players on offense for you to really watch and project for next year are Brandon Powell, who caught 6 passes that game and is moving to the slot this year as a sophomore (played as a RB last year), and Demarcus Robinson, who will probably end up being one of the better WR's in the conference this year.

On defense, the only players that left from last year are Fowler, Cummings, Orr, Ball, and Gorman. Orr didn't play much.

Honestly the team is going to look totally different next year tho, so i don't know if there is much to extrapolate.
