Petrino at UF would be scary
It would be scary for UF fans too. I would be constantly worried about him doing something stupid off the field. If he were to be hired, there had better be tons of clauses in the contract regarding moral and ethical behavior.

It's worth the risk in my opinion. Honestly, Muschamp should be shown the door tonight. It's clear he can't get it done. Giving him more time just prolongs the inevitable. "What should be done eventually, should be done immediately."

do not want. we need another offensive genius, not a defensive-minded guy. the new coach just needs to hire a good DC.

It isn't. And Foley isn't game for that.

I don't see Petrino becoming a coach at Florida.

Hell know. Fl's new coach wouldn't and Muschamp wouldn't. My thought is IF a change is made FL will probably clean house with most coaches gone.

Hell yes. He would have us winning lots of games. Dude has a killer instinct and would beat teams into the ground. He had success at Arkansas. Imagine what he could do with the talent at Florida.

Foley would think it's to much of a risk after the Muschamp affair. Different circumstances but issues to deal with non the less. I like Petrino tho

FWIW on Twitter
RUMOR: Muschamp to be relieved of duties following loss to UGA (NBC Sports). It's NOT confirmed, so let's all keep our eyes out for links.

Way too risky.

He might win some games for a little while, but as long as he's your coach you'll always be at risk of him doing something stupid and leaving your program in shambles.

Chip Kelly or Petrino at Florida would be a scary thing.

Art Briles is a beast. I hear the Texas high school coaches LOVE him.

UTexas is probably too proud to hire him because he is from Baylor. Texas fans and culture think they are too good for everyone. But they are actually like the rich nerd that showed up at a high school freshman party in a 911 and still didn't get any pussy.
