Because tons of Mizzou fans come to Columbia when it's here.

The difference is, our stadium is mostly full every game if not completely full.

Losing to Mizzou would be melt-worthy, I'll admit that.

USC gonna kick arse. the civil war started in south Carolina and it's gonna start again by thrashing those Yankees.

I just find it amusing that so many USCe fans think it's going to be a cakewalk.

Who said that? I think we win.

Most of the blowout predictions are from other fans or Mizzou fans saying they will blow us out

I don't think we'll blow you out, I do however like the fact we're in COMO, and because of that I think we'll win by 1-2 TDs, but hardly a blowout.

It'll be an interesting game that will tell us all a lot about what to expect from both teams going forward.

I expect a 35-31 type game, though.

Against a better opponent?? You are dreaming. You don't fix giving up over 600 yards to an fcs team in season. Sorry. They will be putrid all year. Record yards allowed are coming in sec play.

Carolina Girl will melt hard. I don't see any other SC fans really setting themselves up to melt though.

Total Offense: Mizzou 815 yards, USCe 246 yards

Really? You think this comparison means anything without listing the teams played against and their FPI or something to quantify the quality of opponent?

Being a bitch doesn't necessarily equate a melt.

Mizzou could be like Colorado State , scored 53 against a terrible Oregon State team and could only muster 3 points against a decent Colorado team , I'm not sold on the offense , I think they struggle to score against USCe and lose convincingly.

This is my fear. Probably 65% (or more) of our passing yards were just tosses out to the WR to run. Lock didn't look nearly as good as his numbers. I'm not sure "struggle to score" is the right verbiage, but struggle to score enough with our shite defense probably is.

South Carolina. Missouri always finish last. That's just what they do

Disagree. Competition not withstanding. He played an excellent game. Was very accurate and made great decisions for the most part. The 1 pick was really his only mistake.

SC didn't look good defensively week 1 either. I'd be quite surprised if we don't have a big day.

If you aren't first, you're last. We play for all the marbles or none.
