Desperate rationalization. Kind of like when Texas worked UGA over in the sugar bowl. The reaction? Try to explain it away. Can’t be that Texas was just better. Now it just has to be that Ala is not good because it barely escaped a Texas team playing with an injured backup qb. This is an unbecoming habit in the sec. Just believe your eyes. It’s not that hard to explain.

Yeah I know what you mean. Like Georgia in the SEC last year. You are absolutely right, Tider. That let down did make a title team!

Even before Georgia played Texas the talking heads were saying that Georgia was mad as hell about being left out of the playoffs. Reporting that most of the NFL bound players would not be playing and that there were some significant injuries. Georgia fans normally love going to NOLA and buy every ticket available but after being stiffed by the selection committee many decided to stay home. Georgia was madder than hell and if they didn’t honor their commitments probably would have forfeited this game. No one was excited about playing Texas. I remember because I almost didn’t go myself and I never miss games

Dude the officials couldn't even pull it out for you Saturday. Wait a minute, there's a flag on the play

To be fair, everyone usually works Georgia over in the Sugar Bowl.

That was last year. Don't post his overall record vs Bama...it's ugly.

All this shite is such an over reaction. Bama came out flat and had a bad game in a hostile environment and still won.
They’ll be back to stomping arse in no time. They’ll likely be undefeated when they meet UGA in Atlanta. It does feel good to shite on them (again) though.

They seem to be having a lot of bad days. Something is different about then and most of them feel it. That’s why they are so defensive

Every time alabama comes out flat in a game there is always someone who comes out with a hot take article about the fall of Alabama. Sooner or later someone will finally be right, but my guess is it's not going to be this time though

This is dumb. They are going to win the West, probably win the SEC and go to the playoffs again.

I don’t know what the hell is going on with offensive lines right now, bama looks bad one year, LSU can’t block anyone, Ohio State line looks like crap, Etc. I bet that can be fixed.

The receivers are a problem but may not need them anyway but in 2 to 3 games. Don’t bury bama yet, you have to stake them twice and shoot them with a silver bullet.

A lot of overreacting from the rant concerning Bama. Texas made it a game because they put a lot of emotion into it and Bama was flagged 15 times which is no surprise as Texas had been known to work the refs concerning teams that were a threat to them. Texas played LSU hard in 2019 but went 8-5 at the end of the year.

Our two speedsters are actually due back soon. Earl and Harrell. That should fill any gaps at speed with regard to the WR Corps.
