Y'all need to bring Nolan back. Yeah he hates white people...bla bla bla...but you don't need white people to win basketball games.

But seriously, his Arkansas teams were some of the most exciting teams I've ever seen play and going to Arkansas to play in those days was a nightmare. I always thought it was the loudest place.

no you don't. We don't need someone to fight...we need someone willing to fight. That's all. Some guy that Larry Johnson wouldn't think of screwing with on account of what might happen.

We need a big old boy that looks at the biggest baddest the other team has and says "i'll have some of that"

It's the message. Not the fight.

We don't have one guy on this team that would whip somebody else. Not one guy. We are nice.

what does that have to do with being amazing at home and shitting ourselves on the road? this team does great in school and should be mentally tough.

It actually has a lot to do with it. At home they can be comfortable and get patted on the arse and play in a bubble of love.

On the road... you have to be tough, you have to be the kind of person with resolve of steel, have a little nasty in you, be brave and willing to step into a room full of people that won't accept you and want to rip your head off, and you don't let that bother you, you use the negative energy and stress to sharpen your senses to a fine point and dial in and have an attitude that 2 men enter; 1 man leaves and if it's going to be me or you walking out of here, it's gonna be me 10 times out of 10.

Mike got patty caked along with Nolan, I think he's been too soft with the team tbh.

that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

did you watch butler vs duke a couple years ago? a bunch of small skinny white kids who looked like they would get beat by a paper bag said frick it and played some ball with a helluva coach.

as I said before MA needs to get his complacent arse off the bench and actually do something when his team starts shitting themselves. Ma hasn't been too soft, he hasn't been anything he just sat there like he had no impact whatsoever on the team.

the team needs a strong leader that believes in them instead of looking snarky like MA does all the time and killing any motivation they have.

why not put the nastiest toughest football players on the bball team? bc that's not how basketball works. you learn schemes and practice shooting, and have a coach there to motivate you on the sideline so that even when everyone in the stadium is yelling at you you know and your coach knows that you can win.

there's a reason why one of these coaches is now the head coach for the Celtics.

one of these pictures isn't coaching

You didn't make the connection between the differences in mentally being a fighter and physically being a fighter.

It's a mindset, it's mental toughness, it's sometimes throwing reality and any outside influences out the door and focusing on accomplishing something.

This team has the physical tools to win some fights, but they don't have the mental tools yet. I've noticed that Alandise Harris hasn't been starting, he's our best player though I love Qualls.

you poor pig bastards lost to a shitty billy Kennedy team, and a school that doesn't give a frick about basketball. Let that sink in.

Pretty sure you could find a picture of Brad Stevens where he isn't looking intently toward the court.

Mike Anderson can't win on the road.

Apparently Frank Haith can't win at home.
