You don't really believe that response. You're just gumping.
Pearl is about to go in dry and there ain't a damn thing Grant can do about it but lay there and take it.

Hey Whiskey, Bama and Grant beat Pearl TWICE this year.

Pump the breaks. Pearl couldn't even beat Alabama consistently at Tennessee. And neither Alabama or Auburn have had enough consistent success the last 20 years to suggest either would "go in dry". Regardless, basketball programs not named Kentucky can turn on a dime.

Pearl was 4-2 against Alabama while he was at UT. And you consider that not being able to consistently beat them?

And 1-2 against Grant while at Tennessee. Now 0-2 at Auburn. Isn't that the point here? Cart before the horse and all.

And 1-2 against Grant while at Tennessee.
You know you are completely wrong, right?
Pearl was 1-0 against Grant when he was at UT.
Won the 2010 game (Grant's first year).
Didn't coach in the 2011 game (Pearl's last year). Or are you guys trying to claim victories over him in games he didn't coach?
I mean, you can't even count the number of times they coached against each other when they were only in the SEC concurrently for 2 seasons.
Do some research instead of spewing retreaded bullshite.

It seems we are both wrong. Pearl was fired in March of 2011 and from what I can tell, he's credited with every game for Tennessee's 2010-2011 season. Alabama beat Tennessee in Knoxville that season. That would make Pearl 1-1 versus Grant (not 1-2 as I stated earlier). And 1-3 overall. Better?
Edit: Pearl was forced by the SEC in November of 2010 to sit out the first 8 SEC games of the 2010-2011 season. Looking at the schedule, the February 5 loss to Alabama was his last game suspended.

I know plenty of Bama fans who care about basketball and baseball.
I don't. I went there between 2008-2012. We went to basketball games to socialize. Did we care if we won? Yeah. But we weren't torn up about it if we lost.

Anybody who thinks Pearl won't own Grant in the future is kidding themselves. Grant brought in a shite recruiting class in the early signing period and his recruiting isn't going to improve with the possibility of being fired in the upcoming year hanging over his head

lol, lies? Lighten up Francis. It was a mistake. An error that wasn't even the point of my original statement and you lose your cool over it. You seem to do this a lot.
What are we really even arguing over? Two average, at best, basketball programs? A good coach, in Pearl? I'm sure he'll build a consistent program at Auburn. And I'm sure Grant will eventually be run off at Alabama. But like I said, basketball programs can turn on a dime.

Grant is as good a coach as Bama could hope to get. Everyone knows that the focus of Alabama is football, no other men's sports matter to most Bama fans. This is the reason Alabama will not have a top flight overall SEC program. Face it, you are what you are, a football school. This isn't a bad thing as Bama is very good at what matters to their fans, just don't expect top coaches of other Men's sports to run to coach at Bams.
Considering how often I see this nonsense posted over here, there must be a helluva a lot of Bama basketball fans that you guys keep addressing.
Alabama is something like 73-62 all time vs. UF. That's including losing to UF for (I think) every game in Grant's tenure. If UF can become a basketball school, so can Bama. We certainly had more history than UF when they turned it around.

I don't buy that one minute. I hate the guys but there is no reason why Alabama couldn't produce something competitive in basketball. Football will always be the priority at Tennessee too, but it's not like basketball and football compete with each other. At Tennessee this past decade sparked a reinasance for the UT fan base in their commitment towards basketball. It will never be football, but having your school consistently dance each March is fun as hell. I suspect most Alabama fans feel the same about their basketball program.
