Its sad that this clown is the face of the SEC on ESPN and gets off on tearing down/criticizing every coach in the SEC whenever issues arise. When Bama is in the news he doesnt fix his mouth to speak bad about Saban.

Finebaum ripped Alabama constantly from Dubose until Saban got to Tuscaloosa. He tore into Saban about Jonathan Taylor as well. Sounds like you suffer from selective hearing.

If it makes you feel any better, go back and listen to what he said about Mike Shula. No coach in the SEC has been ripped by Finebaum the way he rode Mike Shula.
So if anything, it's Saban love and not Bama love.

He's in it for the money just like pretty much any job. He makes money because people listen/watch. People listen/watch in large part because he baits them and pisses them off. So you have yourself to blame for this in the end.

Every sec fan not associated with Alabama knows and sees right through his bias.

"He rips saban & bama a lot". In Aug 2015, live on SECN: "the 3 NC that Alabama won were the 3 greatest days in my life". " 2 mths ago: " When Ms. Terry gave me a tour of their house, she let me peek into Nick's closet". etc etc etc For any bama fan to say he is not way over board biased towards saban/bama just shows how biased they are. Even Spears is now kidding him about it. Today, Noki (?) one of the hosts on SECN all day long, kidded him bout not being a bama alum despite everyone thinking he is. I am watching SEC Media Days & am stuck with him whenever he comes on. I stop watching SECN as soon as the season starts he is so disgusting.

It's strategic exaggeration. He's just playing to people's assumptions, and he's having fun doing it (while making serious seven figure bank).
He went on vacations with Tuberville when he was at AU. He's notoriously tight with Spurrier. He blasted DuBose, Fran, and Shula at times. He is playing to a shtick at this point.
